The D-View 6.0 SNMP Network Management System is a sotware tool that acilitates the central administratio

network with various SNMP-enabled devices. The D-View 6.0 Standard version (DV-600S) is tailored or network

up to 1000 nodes. Beyond that, the D-View 6.0 Proessional version (DV-600P) provides a server-based architectursimplies the daily management o the network. Flexible and versatile, D-View 6.0 provides network managem

SNMP-based devices, including third party devices.

Automatic Discovery o Network DevicesAdministrators can create a topology diagram to graphically represent planned or existing networks with a simple clic

button. Through SNMP or ICMP, a topology is automatically generated rom your network devices. Traps can be sent to r

network devices to obtain status inormation. D-View 6.0 can recognize a devices standard (SNMP or non-SNMP), type (

or switch, wired or wireless) and network domain. Thats only the beginning o the types o analyses administrators can pe

on all their network devices. Import a bitmap o your buildings blueprint and display your networks topology on top

blueprint to provide a realistic representation o the network topology.

Batch Conguration or Firmware UpgradesD-View 6.0 makes switch rmware upgrades and conguration changes easier. Simply select the network devices you w

upgrade and, with the click o one button, upload your sotware. This eature is especially useul in setting up a network. It i

useul or maintenance, as a group o switches can be scheduled or the same services: rebooting, port status monitor

enabling such eatures as Spanning Tree or the D-Link Saeguard Engine.

third-party MIB les into D-View. In this recognizable ormat, D-View can then communicate with the third party devices mthem manageable through D-View. Valuable inormation can then be polled to provide a complete status o the switch. E

Network Status Real Time ManagementD-View 6.0 is a useul tool or monitoring network status and perormance in real time. It allows trap and alarm notication

set, and can notiy the administrator via e-mail. With the Event Viewer, Filter Setting can extract the exact inormation need

event (type or severity), time (all or specic period), device (vendor or type), and source. Trap Log and Filter can be set to ac

troubleshooting and monitoring.

D-View 6.0 can also present network perormance in colorul bars and graphs, displaying easy-to-read charts with perce

o packet fow, types o packets, port fow, and much more, any time you want.
