“Cordys team did an amazing job in demonstrating speed of delivery, agility
of the Cordys platform.”
What if… you could realise 100% automated, consistent, and accurate cost calculation?
Andre Perez Chief Enterprise Architect, Embraer
Solution
ERP ShapeShifter: build on top of the Cordys Business
Operations Platform - is used in three critical projects: • Quality Cost Recovery
• Enterprise Excellence Program (P3E)
• Customer Information Management (CIM)
Benefits • Complete visibility of cost due to defective supply of parts
• Automated, consistent and accurate cost calculation due to
defective parts • Real-time proactive monitoring of vendors’ Quality Index • Increased value of current process documentation • Improved data quality for process owners and Kaizens
During 2009, Cordys has helped Embraer to achieve business efficiency improvements while still successfully managing the core underlying technology issues. The Cordys solution has led to improved quality with consistent, standardized processes across multiple systems and an enhanced user experience. Embraer now have real time proactive monitoring of vendors’ quality index that helps them to reduce potential cost and delays in the assembly.

Far from certainty
Far from agreement
• 1980: RDMS and MRP algorithms forms the basis for ERP Logistics & Planning bus especially the financial reporting to shareholders made ERP the core Enterprise system with the vendor lock-in consequence
• Customizations increased the complexity. Implementation of newer version became extremely expensive.
• 2000: Fixing the Y2K problem was a standstill for innovation; in this century, there is hardly no new functionality developed!
• S/W vendors enjoying their maintenance benefits in a relaxing way.

Difference between Legacy Solutions and the Best of Breed Cloud Platform7
You can change from 50 (SAP) tables into
1 Rootstock object which of-course makes
your queries so much easier, and gives you
the possibility to model your business,
which is not possible in 4-GL legacy!

organisatie
• Minder hiërarchie, meer zelfsturing
• Samenwerken met klanten,
toeleveranciers, concurrenten en
overheden vereist meer communicatieve
vaardigheden
