Phillip Smith III as Young Michael

Phillip Smith III, a native of Sandusky, Ohio, is an outstanding 16year-old actor and singer. He developend a strong love andpassion for theatrical arts and chorus at a young age. Phillip is apraise and worship leader alongside his mother. Mr. Smith is avetern of the stage starring in KISDs Fiddler on the Roof, KZFDsLosing Mama, Behind Closed Doors and Sunday Dinner.

Russell "Russoul" Pike as Adult Michael

Russell Pike, Jr., known as Russoul (russ–Soul), fuses sensual,soulful vocals over deep, grooving dance tracks. His concepts offantasy, love, hope, inspiration, reflection, and desire will grab theear, inspire the mind, and move people internationally. Russoulbegan writing for the internationally renowned producer Mark Grant,where he penned the hit song entitled "Guessing Again" which waslicensed and re-released by Defected Recordings. Russoul latercollaborated with Cajmere/Green Velvet and continues to write andproduce chart-topping singles on Beatport and Traxsource. Russoulhas performed at the Jamaica Jazz Blues Festival in Montego Bay,opening for artists Stevie Wonder, Kanye West, LL COOL J, NewEdition, Eryka Badu, Chaka Khan, Cameo, Frankie Beverly andMaze, and Sam Salter, to name a few. He also has performed for major events such as the Taste ofChicago (2004-2008); the Winter Music Conference (2006-2008) inSouth Beach, Miami.

Vallon Holcomb as Mom "Francis"

A native of Savannah, Georgia, Vallon Holcomb has a degree inActing and is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Artsin New York. Vallon began acting at the age of 14 andprofessionally in 2012. Vallon has been featured in numerousstage plays, to include: Defacing Michael Jackson, Love andLies, Sunday Dinner, Prodigal, and The leading role in Scrooge,and Tempest.

William Moleon as Cricket

Will, as he is affectionally known, is a native Floridian and wasraised in New York. A veteran of the stage, he has performed inFannie Mae's Cafe , A Street Car Named Desire, Dirty Laundry,Let God make Him a Man, Tempest, Sunday Dinner and BehindClosed Doors. Will endeavors to create great relationships and tobe a great role model. He loves to spend his time with family,writing music, sleeping and playing the drums.

Daryl Frazier as Voice of Dad

Daryl, a native of Winter Haven, Florida and owner of KZFrazierDrama, is a former pro football player and Army Captain. He is alsothe former host and radio personality of "Let's Talk Sports." Daryl isthe Operational Manager and Logistics Coordinator for KZFrazierDrama.

Natasha Hartley as Grandmother/Voice of Ancestors

Natasha is a native of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She serves asthe Director of Worship and Arts at Chrisitian House of Prayer inKilleen, Texas. She honorably seved her country for 23 years as aCareer Counselor and retired as a Master Sergeant. Natasha hasbeen singing and directing music for 23 years and has appeared inseveral stage plays to include: Sunday Dinner, Losing Mama,Prodigal and Behind Closed Doors. She also serves as theMusical Director for KZFrazier Drama.

Ken Davis Band Director

Leader of the Ken Davis Project and seen as a regular at TheQuarry, Say Bienet and other locations, Ken joins this productionwith the experience of playing for thousands. He prides himself onpresenting music with integerity and he never plays offensive ordegrading music for his audiences. He has shared the stage with R.Kelly, Bernie Mack, Roy Ayres, Holly Maxwell and many others.

Kerry Ann Frazier Playwright/Director

Kerry-Ann Frazier is the owner, playwright and director of KZFrazierDrama. She has been an actress, lyrical dancer and drama directorfor over twenty years in the community and church theatre. Kerry-Ann is also a national speaker and author. She utilizes herexperiences as social worker to bring issues to light on stage;educating the community in family violence, child abuse, mentalhealth concerns, and chronic poverty. Kerry-Ann has a Bachelor’sdegree from the University of Maryland with a focus in Educationand Psychology, a Master’s degree in Education, Training andFacilitation from the University of Phoenix and a Master’s degree ofSocial Work from the University of Southern California. Kerry-Annhas written numerous orginal stage plays and performed in severalproductions throughout the nation, Alaska and Germany. She is alsoan award winning short film director.

Lichelle "LaLa" Johnson Choreographer

Lichelle “LaLa” Johnson, Chicago Native, choreographer andcreator of the back-to-back dance productions “Never Wave MyFlag”, is the founder of P.V.E. (Purpose, Vision, Empowerment)Dance Company. Lichelle’s mother empowered her daughter to pursue dance at avery young age. Lichelle furthered her dance experiences byengaging in praise dance and choreography at churches, weddings,and other special events. She also was a member of Hillcrest HighSchool Cheerleading team, G.M.O.P Mime Ministry, and WorshipOur Savior Praise Dance Ministry. She has performed and studiedunder the direction of Kim Tyler (Endure Productions), MichelleDavis (United Faith Center Ministries International), AmaniyeahPayne (Muntu Dance Theatre of Chicago) and Margaret Mahdi(Mahdi Theater Productions). She attended Columbia CollegeChicago and is currently studying under Elder Jaqueline Saunders(Miriam’s Mission Ministries).
