RESULTS.
DuraWall is available in 4” and 6” thicknesses and in a multitude of colours and finishes. With a Sound Transmission Class (STC) of 30-32, it will meet acoustical requirements equivalent to two bonded layers of gypsum wallboard, but at the same time provide an insulation R-value similar to or greater than that of insulated wood or metal stud wall.
DuraWall panels come in sheets 4’ x 20’ and can be installed horizontally or vertically. Its simple tongue-and-groove connections make installation literally a snap. The DuraWall design is inherently also a thermal wall, as there are no thermal breaks in the panel.
As with other DuraSystems assemblies, DuraWall is a CULUS-listed fire resistant system, with certified fire ratings of 45-minutes (with the 4” panel) and 2-hours (with the 6” panel). Its lightweight and cost-effective design is an ideal solution for a wide variety of commercial acoustical applications. Before your back is up against the wall, go DuraWall.
