are similar enough that you can replace them easily.

The Review....

Obviously, the MAC shadows are of better quality. With that being said, NYX comes very close to

being the same quality. The colors are highly pigmented and come off as vibrant without need of a

base/primer. Using one however will result in the color lasting longer and appearing more bright. The

MAC shadows are better in texture, for example there's no chalky powdery feeling that one gets with

cheaper makeup. Some of the NYX shadows are dry to the touch and don't show up on the eyelid as

on a arm swatch, so i would beware of that. Overall, i think the two are comparable. For someone

who uses primarily brown/bronze colors, i would invest in MAC basic shadows such as woodwinked,

bisque, satin taupe, etc. However, if you are adventurous, i see no reason to send 3x as much, so

you should simply buy NYX. The brighter colors are super pigmented and blend easily. NYX, good

job with your formula :)

PACKAGING, ETC.

First off, i LOVE the packaging. I think it's really sleek and professional looking. One downside is that

it doesn't come in a pan so you can't easily put it in cases like the MAC ones. However, because it

has a lid you can carry a few colors easily, they're very compact. The eyeshadow itself is finely

milded, and for it's price( about $3), i feel that it's well worth it.

The ELF compact, is a great dupe for MACs empty quad. It is magnetic and MAC NYX ELF and many more shadows will all fit in it. Also, ELF has a mineral eye shadow called "socialite" that is almost the exact same color as "Sweet Siena" pigment from MAC, but it is only $3.00... YEAH!!! The other ELF mineral shadows are also very pretty, there may be other dupes in the ELF collection I just dont have many MAC pigments to compare them with. Hope this helps!
