An effective seal to stop fire

ACTION• Protection acts between 180-200 ºC, the self-extinguish filter expands itself with a ratio

of 17 times i ts volume, causing a pressure upon t he tube of 10 bar.

• The expansion of the self-extinguish filter causes the pipe to break, by its oppression.The re fore , damaged area w il l be i solated from the remaining areas.

• Tested by B5476 Standards Parts 20 to 22, for 2 hours of fire protection.

COMPOSITIONThis self-extinguish and self-expanding material is wrapped by a thin plastic covering whichreacts to the heat from fire. It expands inwards stopping the spread of fire by rapidly providing100% fire proof seal.

INSTALATIONIt is fixed around the ducting with an adhesive tape.Protection must be placed betweenthe duct and the wall. In the event of fire the self-extinguish and self-expandingmaterial expands due to the temperature and pressure. As a result constricts the ductpreventing the fire spreading towards the tube.
