Moldovan victims of forced labour in Poland - especially women with children (their husbands/partners are
prevented from accompanying the victim by the offenders)
- in destination country separated from their children or one child – threatened with the arguments related to child’s safety
- forced to begging, deprived of the whole „earnings”, often beaten
- People of Romanian origin seem to take part in recruitment and exploitation in destination countries
Ukrainian victims of forced labour in Poland
- usually exploited in agriculture or small factories
- seem to accept the hard working conditions just to earn money
- many victims come from Western Ukraine (closest to Poland)
- victims among both man and woman(cases of couples employed on the farms and forced)
Vietnamese victims of forced labour in Poland
- exploited in trade sector (flea market, market stalls) and asian bars
- work to pay debts- usually smuggled to Poland (due to
their responses ) - not conscious of being a victim
(accept hard working conditions, appreciate the possibility to work, even if their freedom is reduced ?)
