2G OBSERVATIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

OBSERVATIONS:1. Customers location is 2.44km away from nearest site AB0384

2. After optimization was done on AB0384 and also AB0476,there was still poor coverage at customer’s location due to much vegetation “palm trees” at customer’s community and also no 900Band (RSU ) in the 2G cabinet…

3. Antenna and Tower height for site AB0384 is : ANTENNA HEIGHT25meters and TOWER HEIGHT35meters

4. Site AB0384 has extra 10meters height allowance after antenna height of 25meters..

5. The antenna type for site AB0384, is an ANDREW TRI-BAND ANTENNA.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

1. Antenna Height Increase needs to be done on sector “C” of AB0384 for better coverage at customer’s location , due to much vegetation around the location …

2 Site AB0384 has no 900-RSU in the 2G cabinet only 1800-RSU , and also 3G –RSU in it’s cabinet, both on Air ..

3. Install 900 technology “RSU” for a good coverage…
