The Tubing Tester Valve is a ball valve which has been specifically designed to use when running a retrievable DST String into a permanent Packer. The ball valve allows the Tubing String to self fill while running into the well and allow pressure testing of the string from above the T.T.V.

The Tubing Tester also incorporates a packer release system to allow the seal assembly to be pulled out of the packer without having to fire the ball open, allowing the string to be tested after a space out has been performed.
