The classic SLA surface, short of «Sand-blast, Large grit, Acid-etch» is based on large aluminum oxide Al2O3 particles sandblasting technique that generates a macro-roughness on the titanium surface. Sandblasting is followed by acid-etching batch at high temperatures. As a result, subtle-sized 2-5 micron micropores appear at the implant surface. This unique macro/micro-topography provides an ideal structure for the cell attachment while reducing the possibility of a bacterial colonization. SLA surface treatment technique seemed to be one of the most studied and best documented in the modern dental implantology.Cell culture tests, histological studies of bone, all confi rmed its strong long-term performance, high mechanical stability and a low ratio odds of developing peri-implantitis.This is making the SLA a perfect choice for the contact surfaces of the implants.

This state-of-art implant special feature is one-piece, titanium alloy construction, which provides maximum strength, while keeping a slim shape and small diameter.

Allows treatment of narrow spaces that cannot be otherwise handled with larger two-piece implants.

The DSI Monoblock has been shown to be stronger when loaded to failure than most industry standard under-4-mm diameter implants.

Those implants can be placed using a single-stage protocol, while soft-tissue experiences much less trauma.

DSI ANGULATED ABUTMENTS are used when a change to the axis of the implant is required. Normally used for cement-retained single crowns or bridges. The abutments are available with angles of 15°, 25°, 35° and 45° degrees.


UCLA Casting abutments with a full body or press-fi t plastic sleeve on a metal base. The plastic material burns without residues or ashes inside the furnace and used to construct custom shape abutments and structures. Two types of connection are available:

PEEK (POLYETHER ETHER KETONE) ABUTMENTS Designed as a provisional abutment, PEEK abutment can be placed at the fi rst stage of the surgery, to form the gingiva, while allowing the immediate restoration of the patient’s aesthetic area, without compromising osseointegration in any way. GBR System SD-Screw SetThe GBR System is comprised of bone screws and bone plates that are used for bone fi xation surgery. The bone screws and plates are notreusable. The bone screws are composed of the titanium alloy (ASTM F136) and the bone plates are composed of the pure titanium (ASTM F67 Grade 1). The screws are offered in following range; diameter (1.4, 1.6 mm) and length (6.0, 8.0, 10.0 mm). Also, the tip of screw has single type: the self-drilling and self-tapping available type and the type that require the pre-drilling (Surgeon's option). The bone plate is offered in 0.1 mm thickness and in length 36 mm × 22 mm. Each device is provided non-sterile. Steam sterilization is Recommendeded.

According to the recent studies, excessive heat generated by drilling will induce bone necrosis thus affecting the initial stability and survival rate.The main negative factor for the heat generation during the rotary drilling sequence is the use of dull drills.Use of pilot drills and a graded series of drill sizes rather than one large drill will decrease temperature rise in the bone. Clinicians should interrupt the drilling procedure at least every 5 sec for at least 10 sec, and apply saline to the bone.Repeated autoclave sterilization cycles cause a reduction in the cutting power of the drill, eventually resulting in impaired cutting effi ciency and elevated frictional heat.The rule is simple – implant osteotomy drill should perform a maximum of 40 drilling cycles.Using the sharp drills for osteotomy preparation results in less operation time, with less heat production and also less time required for the bone to attain normal base line temperature.

DSI Sponge is manufactured from highly purifi ed fi rst extract grade gelatin material. It is used in a wide range of surgical procedures, where traditional hemostatic measures are irrelevant, or inappropriate.

DSI Glass-FX GIC CementBased on an advanced formula, this multi-purpose glass-ionomer suits for fi nal cementation of crowns, bridges, inlays, and onlays, as well as orthodontic applications. The cement chemically bonds to enamel, dentin, and metal.

The glass component is fi nely ground and sieved to produce an average particle size of fewer than 5 microns (<5 μm). WORKFLOW:

Nylon Monofi lament suture is the monofi lament form of nylon, composed of long-chain aliphatic polymers. Due to its property of elasticity, it is useful for surface (epidermal, superfi cial) closure.

DSI Nylon Monofi lament suture has great "memory effect" – the ability of a suture material to return to the previous shape after deformation, and known for its proclivity for knot slippage. Because of 100% synthetic origin, DSI Nylon Monofi lament causes minimal to none reaction of the body tissues.

DSI Nylon Monofi lament is non-absorbable suture and made of materials which are not metabolized by the body, and are used therefore either on skin wound closure, where the sutures can be removed after a few weeks or in cases when the use of absorbable sutures is not adequate. DSI Catgut is available at coated and plain versionsPlain Catgut suture is naturally degraded by the body's own proteolytic enzymes.

DSI Plain Catgut is an absorbable suture made by twisting together strands of purifi ed collagen taken from bovine intestines (free of BSE and aphthous fever) and joining them in wet condition giving monofi lament fi nish. The natural plain catgut thread is precision ground in order to achieve a multi-fi lament character and treated with a glycerol-containing solution. Chromic gut sutures are treated with chromic salt to enhance absorption period and reduce any adverse tissue reaction.

DSI Plain Catgut suture absorption is complete by 50-60 days, while the full tensile strength remains for two weeks.

DSI Polyglycolic Acid (PGA) Sutures an absorbable braided synthetic homopolymer of glycolic acid. Composed of a polyglycolic acid coated with polycaprolactone and calcium stearate. Since polyglycolic acid is not a naturally occurring organic substance, it elicits a much less infl ammatory response. Absorbed by hydrolysis.

DSI PGA Sutures are known for the predictable absorption, outstanding tensile strength, in-vivo inertness and excellent handling properties. Polyglycolic acid suture retains approximately 75% of the initial tensile strength after 2 weeks, 50% of tensile strength after 21 days and 25% – after 28 days of implantation and essentially absorbs within 60-75 days. Always predictable, always reliable. Synthetic suture means that this suture is perfectly compatible with every patient and should not provoke any negative body reactions.

DSI PGA suture fully reveals its potential in dental implantology, thanks to the whole specter of its nature. In two phases surgical implantation procedure the best results could be achieved with use of PGA sutures, because of predictable absorbing time and tensile strength that reduced gradually, that parallels with tissue healing, and bone regeneration.
