Trigger
Change to a master recipe is desired.
Business Process Description OverviewRecipes contain all the data needed to create a product. Recipes can be changed or logically deleted via this transaction. Changes may be necessary because operation steps change or because components and/or standards have changed.
Physical deletion takes effect with the next database reorganization. Until the database reorganization occurs, you can reinstate a logically deleted recipe at any time.

Select Logistics Production - Process Master Data Master Recipes Recipe and Material List Change to go to the Change Material Master: Initial Screen.

Procedure
1. Start the transaction using the menu path Logistics Production - Process Master Data Master Recipes Recipe and Material List Change or transaction code C202.

2. Complete the following fields:
Field Name R/O/C Description
Material R Any item/product/SKU that exists in SAP. Materials are created, purchased, ordered, received, moved within and between plants and sold.
Example: D10201366
Plant R A physical definition of a group of manufacturing processes.
Example: 3431
3. Click to go to the Change Master Recipe: Recipe (Operations) screen.

4. Perform one of the following:

Insert a new operation/phase in between two existing operations/phases

Insert a new operation/phase at the end of the existing operations/phases

5. Click second existing operation/phase you want to insert in between of.
6. Click to insert a new-line in between existing operations/phases.

8. Select Phase indicator.
9. Complete the following fields:

Operat.,phase R Unique number assigned to each operation/phase step.
Field Name R/O/C Description
Destinatn. R The control recipe destination specifies whether the technical address to which a control recipe is transferred, or how the transfer takes place (for example, initiated by R/3 or by process control).
Description O Description of the phase.
Base qty. O Quantity of the material to be produced to which the standard values of the operation refer.
Resource and Superior operation values are copied from upper phase/operation.
10. Go to Step 12.
11. Complete the following fields:

Resource O Means of production and persons involved in a production process that have capacities assigned to them.
Description O Description of the operation.
Base qty. O Quantity of the material to be produced to which the standard values of the operation refer.
12. Click to validate your entries.
13. Click next to the new operation/phase to select it.

14. Click to go to the Change Master Recipe: Operation screen.

15. As required, complete/review the following fields:
Field Name R/O/C Description
Control key R Code used to identify operational processes. Examples of operational processes include costing, scheduling, and completion confirmations.
Base quantity R Quantity of material referenced by the standard values.
Charge quantity O Numerator of the quotient that describes the relationship between the unit of measure of the charge quantity and the unit of measure for the operation, phase, or secondary resource.
Operation qty. O Denominator of the quotient that describes the relationship between the unit of measure of the charge quantity and the unit of measure for the operation, phase, or secondary resource.

Duration C Length of time from start to finish.
Fixed cost C Portion of the total cost that remains constant regardless of the operating rate and lot size.
16. Click to return to the Change Master Recipe: Recipe (Operations) screen.
17. Go to Step 4.
18. Click next to the operation/phase you want to delete.
Subordinate phases will also be deleted when you delete operations.

19. Click to go to the Delete window.

20. Click to return to the Change Master Recipe: Recipe (Operations) screen.
Note deleted operation/phase is no longer displayed.
21. Go to Step 4.

23. Click to go to the Change material BOM: General Item Overview screen.

24. As required, complete/change the following fields:
Field Name R/O/C Description
ICt O Determines classification of material. For example, stock material, consumed material, etc. Classification determines which fields and screens are required. In LIS, defines how purchase of an item is controlled.
Component O Element of a BOM used for creating a material.
Quantity O Number of items being processed.
Un O Unit of measure.
25. Click to validate your entries.
26. Click to return to the Change Master Recipe: Recipe (Materials) screen.

27. Go to Step 4.
28. Click to go to the Change Master Recipe: Recipe (Recipe header) screen.

29. As required, review/change the following fields:
Field Name R/O/C Description
Status O Used to identify the completion status of an event. Used to determine the allowed business transactions.
Example: 4
Usage O Code identifying the area in which the task list will be used.

30. Go to Step 4.
31. Click to save the changes to the recipe and to return to the Change Master Recipe: Initial Screen.

The system displays the message, "Recipe was saved in recipe group XXXX."
