DS2009Q/DS1185Q is a newly developed instrument for DVB system test. It is designed for both installation and maintenance of DVB system. It can measure and display the main parameters in the DVB network (such as channel power, MER, and BER), signal level at a specific frequency or any carrier in the whole system range, and etc. It inherited all DS1151B’ s/DS1185B’ s strong points. The Analogue channel, QAM and FM channel can be set and tested efficiently; it also supports C/N measurement, voltmeter function, spectrum analy-sis and data logging. It is easy for DS2009Q/DS1185Q to obtain a report of test data via PC or printer.Additionally, DS2009Q/DS1185Q has a wider frequency range: 5MHz~870MHz, so it can support return path tests.

The DS1151(B)/DS1185(B) Signal Level Meter is designed to provide features which are most widely used and favored by professionals in CATV industry at the least cost. DS3620 enable user to master all complex features of the model with friendly interface design, which support to complete the testing only by one touch. And the easy operating menu assists you with accuracy and quick measurement of fiber in the range selected, such as to report the fault point automatically and show the fiber attenuation between two markers.(Figure 1)
It is convenient for user to locate fault point exactly by event list, which provides a terse and clear list and label of detail information of fault point tested. The items includes invent style, distance, invent loss, reflection, slope between two points, section message, total loss and etc.(Figure 2)
Multiple level zoom in and out function is able to display some specific features, such as the state and location of the fault point and dead zone on the curve. (Figure 3)
The attenuation of the splice can be measured even while 0.08dB as minimum value, refer to the clear and intuitionistic curve on the figure.(Figure 4)
