How Peer Pressure Works
Peer Pressure- doing something because you want to fit in
Peer-Pressure mainly affects kids who have low self-esteem
Narcotics, alcohol, and smoking are all prime associates of peer pressure
Heroin Heroin is the most harmful drug there is
Taking heroin results horrible skin diseases such as skin cancer
Poppies have been grown for thousands of years
They have a powerful drug called opium in them
They are one of the most potent pain killer known to medicine
Marijuana is less than one hundred years old
Cannabis the plant it’s grown from is older than civilization
The Ancient Chinese used it for hemp to make rope
While wood carvings found in medieval monasteries
Christian monks used hemp to make early forms of paper
Seventeen century sales were made of cannabis plant that gave the name canvas

When Thomas Jefferson wrote the first draft of the Declaration of Independence it was made from the fibers of the cannabis plant
Marijuana causes impaired memory, apathy, paranoia and decreased motor control

Peer Pressure The reason why teenagers take drugs is because they want to fit into the crowd.
A teenager who would most likely take drugs is one who doesn’t like anything about his life or some without a male parent and a female parent.
A kid who would take drugs is one who is unsure of himself or only sees people who are taking the drug.
