I. Introduction
A drug is any chemical you take that affects
the way your body works.

A drug must be able to pass from your body into your brain.
Drugs can change the messages your brain cells are sending to each other, and to the rest
They do this by interfering with your brain's own chemical signals

• Using drug becomes a habit• Need more drugs to get high• Feel difficult without drugs• Legal problem• Argument/violence outburst• Inappropriate spending • Dealing problems by using drug• Spending more time and energy on using drug

including paranoia, aggression, hallucinations• mood swings• detachment from people• absorption with self or other objects,
slurred speech• confusion.
