The Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety Division received Gold Eagle s notices of TemporaryCessation TC for the above referenced sites on March 1 2013 On May 7 2013 Gold Eagle submittedwithdrawals of those notices and affirmed previous statements it would initiate reclamation The
Division acknowledges the withdrawal of the notices of Temporary Cessation and is returning therequired fee of 115 00 for each site
Gold Eagle first committed to reclamation in lieu of submitting an Environmental Protection Plan onJanuary 7 2013 Gold Eagle U S Department of Energy and the Division will be meeting on site in midMay to discuss reclamation plans and requirements for all 4 sites Gold Eagle will be required to submit
a plan and timetable for initiation of reclamation to the Division within 60 days of issuance of the sitevisit inspection report Final reclamation of all four sites must be achieved no later than May 31 2014
Once the plans are reviewed and accepted by the Division it shall be incumbent upon Gold Eagle tocommence reclamation in accordance with the approved timetables Failure to meet set deadlines mayresult in the Division issuing a Reason to Believe a Violation Exist letter and scheduling the matter foran enforcement hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board
