BIO SUMMARY

I have more than 13 year teaching and research experience. I have been teaching undergraduate courses in

human nutrition and dietetics including metabolism of primary nutrients, Minerals and Vitamins in Human

Nutrition, feed resources, principles of animal nutrition and postgraduate courses including minerals in

nutrition, vitamins in nutrition, and metabolic disorders for the last many years.

I have supervised 4 PhD and 15 MSc (Hons) students as a major supervisor and many as member

supervisory committees. I have published more than 150 (92 in impact factor journals) research articles in

refereed journals and also author/co-author of 5 books, 30 extension article and 11 brochures/leaflets. I have

attended many national and foreign scientific conferences to present my research work. I have completed more

than 8 research projects as principal investigator, sponsored by different public and private organizations

and currently working as principal investigator of 2 research projects.

I had the honor of establishing University Day Care Center; UAF and was its founder Incharge. I

started University Scout Rangers chapter at UAF and am its founder president. I am actively involved in

University Tutoring System as a tutor and member in many committees of Directorate of Sport, UAF.

I am not only the repeat recipient of Research Productivity Award by PCST, Islamabad, but had the honor of

winning University better incentives for multiple times. In recognition of teaching and research, I was decorated with

Izaz-i-Fazeelat, presidential award. I also won the Star Laureate Award by South Asian Publications, Karachi in

2002.
