Introduction

In these difficult times many organisations are reorganising their business to be competitive which has included reducing people numbers and associated costs. Conversely they recognise the need to get their people engaged and motivated to deliver high performing teams focused on creating excellent customer service to win new business and create high levels of customer satisfaction

This workshop is specifically designed for use with teams that have recently formed or changed as a result of restructure or redundancy and aims to help participants ‘re-connect’ with colleagues as quickly as possible, using proven theory and practical exercises. The workshop is designed to have an immediate impact on the communication and understanding within the team by linking the learning into an agreed practical action plan. This action plan could include not only how they work together but also how they can communicate more effectively with customers to win new business.

This workshop will help individuals and teams:

• Achieve a greater level of self-awareness of how behaviours effect team dynamics and performance

• Improve communication and deal with conflict more effectively to get better results

• Understand what team members need from one another to help the group be more effective.

• Create a ‘common language’ to improve communication and appreciate different styles are required

• Understand the ‘make up’ of the team – where are the gaps that are holding the team back?

• Apply the learning to the workplace immediately through an action plan agreed by the team on the day

What is the SDI?

SDI (Strengths Deployment Inventory®) is a proven tool that explores personal motivations and strengths. This participative workshop explores how you like to work when things are going well, and what happens to you when things are not going to plan. Once you understand this personally, you can explore what this means when working in a team, with customers, partners and suppliers to improve your performance

How much will it cost?

We have designed this as a 1 day event to provide a blended learning and action plan session for your team(s) to have maximum impact and payback for the business. We are also happy to design an afternoon/evening session where required to help minimising business disruption. We recommend a maximum of 12 delegates at each workshop.
