A motorist who changes addresses must report this change within one week after moving, this includes individuals who move out of NJ.
A motorist who legally changes his/her name(marriage, divorce, adoption) must report change to the DMV within two weeks.
If you have an out of state license and you move into NJ you must exchange it for NJ license within 60 days or prior to its expiration, which ever comes first.
All motor vehicle laws apply to cars, mopeds, bicycles, and pedestrians.
Your license and registration will be suspended if you fail to pay any and all judgments rendered against you in excess of $500.00
