    ❖ Minor hockey fees for the season (up to $450 per player is provided by the Hockey Canada Foundation) ❖ If MHA fees are above $450 per player, the ask is of the MHA or social organization

    to cover the remaining amount

    ❖ Head to toe Bauer equipment set

    ❖ Hockey Canada skills session

    ❖ Funding partner: the Hockey Canada Foundation ❖ Providing support for:

    ❖ Minor Hockey Association fees ❖ Equipment fees ❖ Facility rental as required

    ❖ Camp execution fees

    ❖ Hockey Canada: ❖ Camp execution led by Hockey Canada and the Hockey Canada Foundation ❖ Camp liaison between Hockey Canada, Regional Branch, Minor Hockey

    Associations, and local social assistance group to identify qualified and vetted participants and families

    ❖ FUNDING BREAKDOWN: ❖ Minor Hockey Fees: $450 per player, up to 30 players ❖ Equipment Fees: Up to 30 players ❖ Camp Execution: Staff travel, meals and accommodations, shipping,

    volunteer gifting, etc.

  • NEXT STEPS | ROLL - OUT 1. Communication between Hockey Canada, HC Member Branch, & MHA in a community.

    *Host Organizing Committee if the DCT is being executed in coordination with a National Event.

    2. Branch & MHA create contact with social assistance organization(s) who will identify interested and eligible participants.

    3. Ice booking and venue(s) for equipment shipping and fitting are booked by MHA.

    4. Up to 30, 6 – 10 year olds identified with estimated sizing 2 months prior to camp. HC will facilitate the

    logistics of equipment with close support of the MHA & MHA volunteers.

    5. Equipment order placed through HC channels, such as Bauer, Sport Chek, and Canadian Tire

    6. Equipment provider / HC staff / DCT volunteers perform equipment fitting (Part 1 of DCT)

    7. On – ice session for program participants (Part 2 of DCT)

    8. Participation as registered members in minor hockey the following season!
