A big part of MONAT is dreaming bigger…and going farther than you’ve ever gone before. MONAT recognizes your efforts and gives you many opportunities as you expand your involvement with MONAT’s business and culture.
One of the opportunities before you is to win one of MONAT’s “Big 3” annual awards—the aforementioned Chairman’s Award, CEO’s Award and President’s Award, always unveiled amidst the mirac-ulous magic of our big Dream Bigger gala at our annual MONATions United conven-tion.
In 2016, Lam Le, a physician who specializes in wound care and limb salvage, brought home the Chairman’s award. Lam is exceptionally passionate and committed to her profession because she is the last stop before one has to consider amputation. She works extraordinari-ly hard to preserve health and happiness.
Lam came to America from Vietnam as a child with her family and feels extremely blessed for her opportunity to create a fulfilling life. In return, she pays it forward with an innate instinct to heal the broken-hearted and ban-dages their wounds. Lam founded the Heal Foundation to help heal body, mind and spirit for the underserved and needy. Globally, the HEAL foundation has two clinics in Vietnam that treat wounds for those who cannot afford care. Locally, her HEAL Foundation runs a wound treatment clinic for those in need in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

In 2016, Serena Warkentine was the CEO Award Winner. Serena, a stay-at-home mom of a young toddler, says that the biggest obstacle she had to overcome when starting with MONAT was herself – an introvert at heart. She never thought she could be successful. But MONAT has helped her not only face her fears but propelled her forward to making major life changes. Now a more confident and stronger woman because of MONAT, Serena says she is a happier person overall. MONAT has given her the freedom to be who she is and live her life the way she wants.
She also is surrounded by what she calls an amazing community of woman who are all working together to reach the same goals. To be in the MONAT environment where “we all love each other is unlike anything I have ever experienced my whole life!”

KENDALL WELDEN President’s Award Winner
In 2016, Kendall Welden walked away with this prized trophy! Kendall, who was a hairdresser before MONAT, was able to retire from that profession at the age of 23. Today, with more than 1,400 Market Partners on her team and more than 100 VIPs, she is unstoppable! Ken-dall says with MONAT’s guidance, she stopped thinking like a hairdresser and started thinking like an entrepreneur. MONAT has completely changed both her and her husband’s life. Both are now able to do whatever they want at a very young age. They spend more time with each other, travel together and have many goals to accomplish before they decide to start a family, which is import-ant to Kendall. She thanks MONAT for giving her a life she never dreamed she could have.
