TERMINAL

Drayman are an integral part of intermodal operations. They must

be aware of and comply with all safety rules when operating on

CSX intermodal terminal facilities.

SAFETY BRIEF

DRAYMAN ORIENTATION

Prior to entering property for the first time,

Drayman should attend a local safety

orientation provided by a terminal

manager.

RULES SAFETY

All drivers entering a CSX

intermodal terminal facility

should read and know the

rules outlined in the

Drayman Safety

Handbook.

CELL PHONES AND OTHER ELECTRONIC DEVICES MAY ONLY BE USED:

• Only when parked in

Driver Assistance or

inside a building

FOLLOW THE RULES THAT RELATE TO SMOKING AND ALL OTHER TOBACCO PRODUCTS

• Smoking is permitted only in designated areas

• Observe all No Smoking signs

TRASH DISPOSING

LITTERING AND DISPOSAL

• Drivers must open empty containers at the gate

for inspection

• All trash and debris must be removed prior to

arriving on property

• Do not dispose of trash on property

• If you do not report to the

J1 or mission ticket location,

services will not be rendered

rules to Drayman

• Will identify any terminal specific conditions

not described in Drayman Safety Handbook

BANNING DISCIPLINE

KNOW AND FOLLOW THE RULES

• Willful negligence may result in banning from

CSX Intermodal Terminals, Inc. facilities

• Policies vary. Typically, based on the infraction,

Drayman may be banned from one day to

permanently

• Before returning to property, Drayman should

complete a rules-refresher course. In the event of

an at-fault mishap, Drayman must also complete

a safe-driving course
