PROVIDE 1" CONDUIT FROM ACTIVATOR BASE TO ACTIVATOR FOR LOW VOLTAGE WIRING. THEBLANK ON TOP OF THE BASE SHALL BE MAINTAINED TO ENSURE THE UNIT IS WATERTIGHT.
4. PROVIDE MINIMUM #6AWG BARE COPPER BONDING JUMPERS FROM GROUND LOOP AND CONNECT TORE-ENFORCING STEEL (REBAR IN CONCRETE), TO ALL ELECTRICAL AND METAL EQUIPMENT WITHIN THESPLASH PARK AND TO ALL METAL PARTS OF THE SPLASH PARK. IT IS THE INTENT OF THE WORK TO PROVIDE COMPLETE, NEATLY FINISHED, AND OPERATIONAL SYSTEMS AND ANY LABOR, MATERIAL, PERMITS, LICENSES, APPROVALS AND INSPECTIONS REQUIRED FOR COMPLETION OF THE WORK, WHETHER SPECIFICALLY MENTIONED IN THE DRAWINGS OR SPECIFICATIONS OR NOT, ARE TO BE INCLUDED IN THE PROPOSAL PRICE.

CLEAN UP AND REMOVE ALL UNUSED WIRING AND CONDUITS.
REMOVE AND REINSTALL EXISTING DEVICES TO FACILITATE CONSTRUCTION AS REQUIRED.
CONFIRM OUTLET LOCATIONS AND MOUNTING HEIGHT WITH PROJECT COORDINATOR ON SITE PRIOR TO INSTALLATION.
ALL PENETRATIONS MADE THROUGH FIRE RATED ASSEMBLIES SHALL BE FIRE STOPPED PER FIRE STOP SPECIFICATIONS SECTION.
COORDINATE WITH AND GET APPROVAL FROM LANDLORD FOR ALL DRILLING, CORING AND CUTTING OF BUILDING STRUCTURE. COORDINATE LOCATIONS ON SITE PRIOR TO CARRYING OUT THE WORK. THE ELECTRICAL TRADE IS TO PRODUCE AT HIS OWN EXPENSE A SET OF RED LINE MARK-UP AS-BUILT DRAWINGS, INCLUDING ALL CHANGES TO THE ORIGINAL RFP DRAWINGS COVERED BY ADDENDA, CHANGE ORDERS, FIELD CHANGES, AND JOB CONDITIONS, AND TURN THESE OVER TO THE ENGINEER IN HARD COPY FORM. COMPLETED AS-BUILT DRAWINGS ARE TO BE CLEARLY MARKED "CERTIFIED AS-BUILT DRAWINGS". REFER TO LINE ITEM 3.
O'M ENGINEERING SHALL PRODUCE THE RECORD DRAWINGS IN AUTOCAD FORMAT BASED ON THE CERTIFIED AS-BUILT DRAWINGS RECEIVED FROM THE CONTRACTOR. CONTRACTOR SHALL ASSIST O'M ENGINEERING IN INTERPRETING ILLEGIBLE OR INDECIPHERABLE RED LINE MARK-UPS.
THIS CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE 3 THREE-RING BINDERS FOR MAINTENANCE MANUALS. MANUALS SHALL CONTAIN ALL WARRANTIES, SHOP DRAWINGS, INSPECTION LETTERS, PANEL SCHEDULES, ETC. IN ADDITION TO THE HARD COPY, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL SUBMIT A SOFTCOPY OF THE MAINTENANCE MANUAL VIA USB DRIVE OR BY THE MEANS OF ELECTRONIC FILE TRANSFER.
7. SHOP DRAWINGS
.1 THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR IS TO SUBMIT TO THE ELECTRICALCONSULTANT, FOR REVIEW, SHOP DRAWINGS OF MAJOR ELECTRICALEQUIPMENT. SUCH EQUIPMENT SHALL INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TOSWITCHGEAR, PANELBOARDS, SERIES-RATED BREAKER COMBINATIONS,FIXTURES AND FITTINGS NOT PROVIDED BY THE OWNER.

8. GUARANTEE WARRANTY

9. SETTING OUT OF THE WORK
.1 THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR CORRECTING ALLWORK COMPLETED CONTRARY TO THE INTENT OF DRAWINGS ANDSPECIFICATIONS AND SHALL BEAR ALL COSTS INVOLVED IN MAKING THECORRECTIONS. WHERE INTENT OF DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS IS NOTCLEAR, OBTAIN CLARIFICATION FROM THE ELECTRICAL CONSULTANTBEFORE PROCEEDING WITH WORK.
.2 THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR IS TO GIVE WORK HIS PERSONALSUPERVISION, LAY OUT HIS OWN WORK, DO ALL NECESSARY LEVELING ANDMEASURING OR EMPLOY A COMPETENT ENGINEER TO DO SO. FIGURES, FULLSIZE AND DETAIL DRAWINGS TO TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER SCALEMEASUREMENTS.

HE SHALL CONSULT WITH ALL RELEVANT TRADES IN SETTINGOUT LOCATIONS FOR CONDUIT RUNS, LIGHTING FIXTURES, PANELASSEMBLIES, AND ALL OTHER ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT, SO THAT CONFLICTSARE AVOIDED AND SYMMETRICAL SPACING IS MAINTAINED.

10. EXAMINATION OF THE SITE
.1 PRIOR TO SUBMITTING PROPOSAL, THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL CAREFULLY EXAMINE THE SITE AND ASCERTAIN ALL CONDITIONS WHICH MAY AFFECT HIS TRADE. NO ADDITIONAL MONEY WILL BE ALLOWED FOR WORK RESULTING FROM CONDITIONS THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN NOTICED AND ACCOUNTED FOR DURING A THOROUGH EXAMINATION OF THE SITE.
11. CUTTING AND PATCHING
.1 THE GENERAL TRADE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL CUTTING ANDPATCHING REQUIRED FOR ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION. STRUCTURALMEMBERS MUST NOT BE CUT WITHOUT CONSENT OF THE STRUCTURALENGINEER.
.2 WHERE WORK DONE BY THE ELECTRICAL TRADE DAMAGES THE WORK OFOTHER TRADES, THE ELECTRICAL TRADE SHALL REPAIR AND MAKE GOODSUCH DAMAGE TO THE SATISFACTION OF EACH TRADE CONCERNED ANDTHE ENGINEER.
12. CLEANUP
.1 THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR AND HIS SUB-TRADES ARE TO KEEP THESITE FREE DURING CONSTRUCTION OF DEBRIS, BOXES, PACKING, ANDOTHER MATERIALS ASSOCIATED WITH THE WORK OF THIS TRADE. ALLWASTE MATERIAL IS TO BE DISPOSED OF IN A SAFE AND ENVIRONMENTALLYRESPONSIBLE MANNER.
.2 UPON COMPLETION OF WORK, THE ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION SHALL BELEFT IN A CLEAN AND FINISHED CONDITION TO THE SATISFACTION OF THEELECTRICAL CONSULTANT.
13. ACCESS DOORS
.1 THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR IS TO SUPPLY AND INSTALL ACCESS DOORSAS REQUIRED FOR PROPER SERVICING OF ALL ELECTRICAL WORK. ACCESSDOORS SHALL BE COMPLETE WITH NECESSARY FRAMES AND HINGEDDOORS HELD CLOSED WITH CAPTIVE STUDS. ACCESS PANEL TO BE OF NOTLESS THAN 14 GAUGE STEEL, PRIME COAT FINISHED AND PAINTED ON THEJOB TO MATCH THE WALL OR CEILING FINISH.
.2 THE NUMBER OF ACCESS DOORS SHALL BE KEPT TO A MINIMUM.
.3 THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ACCESS PANELS IN THEDRYWALL CEILINGS FOR ALL ELECTRICAL JUNCTION BOXES AND EQUIPMENTIN ACCORDANCE WITH APPLICABLE CODES.
14. CODES, PERMITS AND INSPECTION
.1 THE ENTIRE INSTALLATION, INCLUSIVE OF MATERIAL AND LABOR, IS TOCOMPLY WITH ALL THE REQUIREMENTS OF ALL APPLICABLE BUILDINGCODES AND AUTHORITIES HAVING JURISDICTION, THE CANADIANELECTRICAL CODE, AND REGULATIONS OF THE LOCAL INSPECTIONDEPARTMENT.
.2 THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR IS TO OBTAIN ALL PERMITS REQUIRED FOREACH STAGE OF WORK, AND AFTER COMPLETION OF THE ENTIREINSTALLATION FURNISH TO THE ELECTRICAL CONSULTANT A CERTIFICATEOF FINAL INSPECTION AND APPROVAL FROM THE ELECTRICAL INSPECTIONDEPARTMENT OF THE AUTHORITY HAVING JURISDICTION.
15. MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT

16. TESTS
.1 ALL PORTIONS OF ELECTRICAL WORK ARE TO BE TESTED FORSATISFACTORY OPERATION.
.2 BEFORE ENERGIZING ANY PORTION OF THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, THEELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL PERFORM MEGGER TESTS ON ALLFEEDERS OVER 60A. ANY PROBLEMS DISCOVERED BY SUCH TESTING ARETO BE CORRECTED BY THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR AND THE CIRCUITS INQUESTION RETESTED. THE RESULTS OF ALL FINAL TESTING SHALL BEPROVIDED TO THE ELECTRICAL CONSULTANT IN REPORT FORM.
.3 UPON PROJECT COMPLETION, AND IMMEDIATELY PRIOR TO FINALINSPECTION AND TAKEOVER, THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL CHECKTHE LOAD BALANCE ON ALL FEEDERS AND AT DISTRIBUTION CENTRES, LOADCENTRES, AND PANELS. THESE CHECKS ARE TO BE CARRIED OUT BYTURNING ON ALL LOADS AND CHECKING LOAD CURRENT BALANCE. IF LOADUNBALANCE EXCEEDS 15 %, THE CIRCUITS ARE TO BE RECONFIGURED ASNECESSARY TO BALANCE THE LOADS.

28. LIGHTING LUMINAIRES AND LIGHTING CONTROLS
.1 PROVIDE A NEW LIGHTING SYSTEM, COMPLETE AND FULLY OPERATIONALAND IN CONFORMANCE WITH CODE AND ULC LISTING REQUIREMENTS.UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE, ALL FIXTURES AND LAMPS ARE TO BESUPPLIED AND INSTALLED BY THE CONTRACTOR AS SPECIFIED IN THEDRAWINGS.

.8 LOW VOLTAGE MASTER SWITCHES AND BUILDING LIGHTING CONTROL SHALLHAVE THE CAPABILITY TO TURN ON AND OFF ALL LIGHTING (120 AND 347VOLT) WITH THE EXCEPTION OF LUMINAIRES ON EMERGENCY LIGHTINGCIRCUITS OR UNSWITCHED NIGHT LIGHT CIRCUITS.
.9 COORDINATE LIGHTING CONTROL PROGRAMMING WITH THE BUILDINGSUPERVISOR.

29. LIGHTING CONTROLS COMMISSIONING REQUIREMENTS
.1 FUNCTIONAL TESTING OF LIGHTING CONTROL DEVICES AND LIGHTINGCONTROL SYSTEMS SHALL BE COMPLETED TO ASHRAE 90.1 - 2016REQUIREMENTS AND BY A THIRD PARTY. THE FOLLOWING ITEMS SHALL BEINCLUDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IN THE TESTING:
· CONFIRM THAT THE HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE IS CALIBRATED, ADJUSTED,PROGRAMMED AND IN PROPER WORKING CONDITION IN ACCORDANCE WITHTHE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS AND MANUFACTURERS INSTALLATIONSINSTRUCTIONS.
· CONFIRM THAT THE PLACEMENT, SENSITIVITY AND TIME-OUT ADJUSTMENTSFOR OCCUPANCY SENSORS YIELD ACCEPTABLE PERFORMANCE, LIGHTSTURN OFF ONLY AFTER SPACE IS VACATED AND DO NOT TURN NON UNLESSSPACE IS OCCUPIED.
· CONFIRM THAT THE TIME SWITCHES AND PROGRAMMED SCHEDULECONTROLS ARE PROGRAMMED TO DIM THE LIGHTS OR TURN THE LIGHTSOFF.
· CONFIRM THAT PHOTO-SENSOR (DAYLIGHT SENSOR) CONTROLS REDUCEELECTRIC LIGHT LEVELS BASED ON THE AMOUNT OF USABLE DAYLIGHT INTHE SPACE AS SPECIFIED.
.2 THE CONTRACTOR SHALL RETAIN AND PAY FOR A THIRD PARTYRESPONSIBLE FOR THE FUNCTIONAL TESTING. THE THIRD PARTY SHALL NOTBE INVOLVED IN EITHER THE DESIGN OR CONSTRUCTION OF THE PROJECTAND SHALL PROVIDE DOCUMENTATION CERTIFYING THAT THE INSTALLEDLIGHTING CONTROLS MEET OR EXCEED ALL DOCUMENTED PERFORMANCECRITERIA FOR EACH SPACE. THE COMMISSIONING DOCUMENTATION SHALLLIST EACH INDIVIDUAL ROOM AND SPACE WITH CONFIRMATION OF EACHTYPE OF CONTROL.
.3 THE THIRD PARTY WHO WILL CONDUCT AND CERTIFY THE FUNCTIONALTESTING, SHALL BE AN EXPERIENCED LIGHTING CONTROL SPECIALIST OR AREGISTERED PROFESSIONAL.
.4 IF ANY ROOM OR SPACE IS FOUND TO FAIL DURING THE FUNCTIONALTESTING, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL CALIBRATE, ADJUST AND PROGRAM ALLCONTROLS AS REQUIRED TO ENSURE THAT EACH ROOM AND SPACE IS INPROPER WORKING CONDITION IN ORDER TO PASS THE COMMISSIONING.
30. SEISMIC PROTECTION
.1 THE ELECTRICAL TRADE SHALL PROVIDE SEISMIC RESTRAINT ANDANCHORAGE FOR ALL EQUIPMENT AND SERVICES IN ACCORDANCE WITHTHE CURRENT EDITION OF THE B.C. BUILDING CODE, ECA SEISMICRESTRAINT MANUAL AND ALL APPLICABLE BUILDING BYLAWS.
.2 IF REQUESTED PROVIDE CERTIFIED PROFESSIONALLY SEALED SHOP ANDPLACEMENT DRAWINGS WHERE APPLICABLE FOR ALL ELECTRICALEQUIPMENT AND EQUIPMENT ASSEMBLIES SHOWING THE METHODS OFATTACHMENT TO THE PARTICULAR STRUCTURE FOR EACH PIECE OFEQUIPMENT AND ASSEMBLY AND PROVIDE ANCHORAGE/ATTACHMENTDETAILS APPROVED AND SEALED BY A B.C. REGISTERED PROFESSIONALENGINEER.
.3 INCLUDE IN THE TENDERED PRICE ALL SERVICES OF A PROFESSIONALENGINEER INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PROVIDING LETTERS OFASSURANCE FOR THE PROJECT IN RESPECT OF THE SEISMIC RESTRAINT OFALL ELECTRICAL MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT, CONDUCTING THENECESSARY SITE REVIEWS AND PROVIDING A LETTER AT THE CONCLUSIONOF THE PROJECT, CONFIRMING THAT ALL SEISMIC RESTRAINTS FOR THEELECTRICAL WORKS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THEENGINEER'S INSTRUCTIONS. PAY ALL ASSOCIATED FEES AS REQUIRED. THESEISMIC ENGINEER SHALL BE IN GOOD STANDING WITH EGBC AND CARRY APROFESSIONAL LIABILITY INSURANCE OF 1 MILLION DOLLARS.
