This morning you will meet in the Lobby at 9am and walk to the Amsterdam Theatre for a behind the scenes backstage tour. You will have the opportunity to see the operations of the theatre & try the original costumes from some of the Disney productions: Lion King, Mary Poppins, Newsies and Aladdin.

Following the tour, you will join a full day guided tour of downtown NYC, Soho, Chelsea Markets. You will walk the highline, visit Central Park,Brooklyn & Upper Eastside.

Wednesday 25th THE MET MUSEUM AND TOUR IN THE MORNING + LUNCH + HORSE AND CARRIAGE CENTRAL PARK + WORKSHOP AT MICHAEL HOWARD STUDIOS – PATSY RODENBURG TBC

This morning we will walk to the Met Museum via 5th Avenue.

Visit Central Park’s main attractions with a Horse and Carriage Ride followed by lunch at the Park Lane Hotel.

HALF DAY : Patsy Rodenburg, Michael Howard Studios - Right to speak, Voice. TBC ‘This all-new, workshop will guide you to rediscover your powerful and free natural voice. The focus of this workshops is attention to the actor’s craft, which will enable you to understand and correct habits that can inhibit your fundamental ability to communicate. Patsy will guide you through an intensive introduction to centered body and breath as well as her innovative Second Circle Presence work, all culminating in a dynamic engagement with Shakespeare.’

Thursday 26th WORKSHOP AT LEE STRASBERG THEATRE AND FILM INSTITUTE

2 HOUR WORKSHOP: Lee Strasberg’s technique - Character Work & script analysis. TBC ‘The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute offers group workshops in the Lee Strasberg Method. The workshops are designed to introduce the individual to Lee Strasberg’s systematic acting technique known throughout the world as the Method. The two hour workshop exposes the class to Lee Strasberg’s relaxation technique and moves through a sequence of sensory exercises.’ Free time in NYC

Friday 27th THE ACTING STUDIO, MEISNER TECHNIQUE TBC

9/11 MUSEUM STATEN ISLAND & BROADWAY MUSICAL

The group will travel onto Downtown to visit the 9/11 museum,

take the Staten Island Ferry to see the Statue of Liberty.

This evening please meet in Hotel Lobby at 7:15pm for our short walk to the Theatre for the evening performance of a Broadway show, show to be decided by committee.

3 HOUR WORKSHOP AT: The Acting Studio, Meisner Technique Method Acting. TBC ‘An introduction to Sanford Meisner's approach to developing acting technique. This acting class is a step-by-step progression of acting exercises that develop the actor's ability to work organically, creating truthful, expressive behavior in acting. This acting class covers the beginning Meisner techniques from word repetition through their first application to a scene and serves as a studio audition for people new to acting.

Saturday 28th TOUR OF RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL & ROCKEFELLER CENTRE

BOOKING CONDITIONS, CANCELLATION CHARGES & TERMS OF TRADE

** SOME VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION YOU MUST READ:

The Global Travel Group Pty Limited cannot be held responsible for any increases in airfares or other adjustments in price imposed by third parties (i.e. hotels, airlines etc), which may occur between now, and your date of travel. However, prompt payment by the due dates may often avoid any price increases, which are subject to change (even until the date of departure) without notice until final payment has been received. No additional charges will apply upon receipt of final payment except for any Government charges and taxes. *DEPOSITS:

A NON REFUNDABLE deposit of $500.00 per person is required to secure your booking. Payment of the deposit confirms you have read and accepted these terms and conditions. If the tour does not go ahead once deposits have been paid due to lack on numbers, a transaction fee of 10% of the deposit payment per person will apply. This will be charged and deducted from your payment.

(we cannot accept a personal cheque within 10 days of travel). Should you wish to pay by credit card we are happy to accept Mastercard or Visa with a 1.4% surcharge. If payment is made by American Express or Diners a 3% surcharge will apply. *LAND ONLY PACKAGE If you require a land only package due to alternate options for flights ie: Frequent Flyer points, staff travel etc. Global Dance Tours require written notice at least 6 months prior to departure. If this is not advised a fee of 200.00 per person will be charged. Global Dance Tours do not accept any liability if you have booked your flights through frequent flyers or independently and if group flight schedule changes occur. *HOTELS & AIRLINES Flights cannot be confirmed until eleven months prior to travel, hotels are subject to availability. Global Dance Tours take no responsibility for airline changes or schedules due to operational reasons or change of aircraft due to shared airline partnership. * GOVERNMENT FEES AND AIRPORT TAXES At all Australian International Airport’s, a local departure tax and airport noise reduction tax is levied on all departing passengers. In addition, foreign government fees and airport taxes may be applicable on your journey. Certain airport taxes must be collected before departure and will appear on your airline ticket.

Global Travel Group Pty Limited will always take the upmost care whilst on tour and will address any issues they may arise however we do not take responsibility for any unforeseen circumstances, injury, natural disasters or acts of Terrorism. Please refer to your Travel Insurance provider for this cover * PASSPORT AND VISA REQUIREMENTS – Australian Passport Holders A current passport with at least SIX (6) months validity from the date of your return is required for all international travel. A VISA WAIVER FORM IS REQUIRED TO BE COMPLETED PRIOR TO TRAVEL * CANCELLATION FEES The Global Travel Group acts as an agent on behalf of airlines, tour operators and suppliers. Please note that any monies received or commitments made by us are subject to our Terms of Trade conditions and Schedule of Fees as well as any of the airlines, tour operators and/or supplier’s terms and conditions. These apply to you and your travelling companion/s. A cancellation fee will be payable if you cancel any booking after it has been made. Post deposit payment Loss of deposit 60-30 days before departure: 50% of the total land charge plus any airline charges 30 days or less before departure: 100% of total land charge plus any airline charges In addition, airlines, tour operators and/or suppliers may levy their own cancellation fees (which can be up to 100%, especially after travel has commenced). Please note Suresave may cover these cancellation fees. Refunds on certain airline tickets can take up to 12 weeks for the airline to process. *NAME CHANGES & AMENDMENTS Airline tickets will be issued as per your registration forms. If this is incorrect and require a ticket re issue or name change, a fee of $120.00 fee will apply. We also reserve the right to levy an amendment fee of 100.00 per alteration to bookings. *AIRLINE FEES: If you extend your travel arrangements outside the tour dates, the airlines will charge an additional fee of $60.00 per person if the fare is the same. If the fare is not the same you will be required to pay the additional fee of $60.00 and the difference in flight price for your required dates. * UNUSED SERVICES There will be no reduction or refund for any unused services for individual passengers or the group as a whole. * HEALTH Please ensure you consult your doctor or TMVC (Travellers Medical Vaccination Centre) for up to date requirements worldwide. * SPECIAL REQUESTS Global Dance Tours is happy to arrange any special dietary or health requirements for your holiday.
