ELEVATOR PITCH

OVERVIEW

We’ve created an end-to-end revenue solution: invoicing, payments and receipting, but our value add doesn’t stop there. Our smart reporting gives a snapshot of every stage of the revenue funnel. At a glance business owners can see what’s coming, what’s owed and what they’ve earned for any selected time period. And big data benchmarking lets them compare to other businesses. Nobody likes to be lectured, but we are giving them a lesson in cashflow management, and creating good financial habits, without them even realising it.

OUR CUSTOMER

DESIGNER

Jane

Sole traders and micro business account for over 85% of all businesses, with around 1.8m in Australia. but are often overlooked. Let's meet Jane, she is a graphic designer. She's a great designer and has clients in Australia and overseas. Currently she accepts a mixture of cash, direct deposit and PayPal. This works but each has it's drawbacks: cash is time consuming and hard to track, direct deposit is prone to errors on the customer side and the customer experience with PayPal is clunky. Then there's the time spent reconciling all these income streams.

DragonBill simplifies and unifies Jane’s payments and gives her choices, so she can use it for each of these customer types.

QUICK WALK-THROUGH

• Create Invoice • Select payment type

Let's see how DragonBill works. Let’s go back to Jane, our designer and her customer, Sue.

A few simple steps.

Jane fills out the invoice details. She selects the payment type: if this was for a repeat late payer, she could use our secured payment - an escrow service - to ensure payment, but since Sue always pays on time, Jane opts for our express payment. It is payment direct from the customer to Jane, it’s great for everyday payments.

DragonBill generates an online invoice. This reduces payment time by up to 97%, and makes it easy for her customers to pay anywhere, anytime. Sue simply clicks the button to initiate payment.

On payment, we automatically issue a receipt and notify Jane of payment - no more wasting time reconciling accounts.

PRODUCT MARKET FIT

READY TO SCALE

Since we were launched by Victorian Innovation Minister, Philip Dalidakis, we’ve been iterating and working on product market fit, then we discovered something special, by combining escrow and direct payment, we can fit the myriad situations small business face. Now we are ready to scale.

So far we’ve had a 3% conversion rate of club members. We’ve had around $60K of payments through, three co-working spaces in Melbourne are onboard to partner with us, two football leagues - that’s 4000 members - on board and in talks with others about adoption for next season.
