Part I 1. INVITATION TO BIDDERS Mesfin Industrial Engineering PLC (MIE) intends to develop an engineering and manufacturing complex (EMC) in Ethiopia,Tigray, Mekelle city. In this connection ‘sealed technical and financial proposal both in separate envelope are expected to submit for providing “ comprehensive consultancy services for planning, designing and detail engineering including landscape design etc. Type of Work: Comprehensive consultancy services for planning, designing and detail engineering including landscape design etc. for setting up the engineering and manufacturing complex (EMC) Scope of services: The proposed consultancy services broadly includes but not limited to the following as per the Term of reference (TOR) under part 3 of this document. Phase I- Initial planning ,designing and engineering of the proposed engineering and manufacturing complex (EMC) ,all utility arrangement and landscape design, preparation of architectural and structural design , Master plan ,making 2D & 3D model, Manufacturing layout and method design ,Manufacturing and handling machineries and equipment selection, preparing document for Bank loan, preparing tender documents ,tender drawings and Bill of quantities. Phase II- Comprehensive consultancy comprising of detail planning, designing and engineering, preparing of working drawings and BOQ for all works under the scope of services. Etc. The consultant expected to participate on this bid should have experience of the above stated activities. Interested bidders should collect the tender document from MIE’s Supply Dep’t in Mekelle or Supply division at Addis Ababa against non-refundable cash payment of USD 50.00 during local time from 8:00 a.m. ---------- 5:00 p.m.; from date of announcement on Ethiopian herald and Fortune.
