Draft layouts for film poster

1I could have the title of the film at the top of the page so it would be the first thing my audience see on the page.

For this design I idea I chose to position the billing block, tagline and release date here as it is where most existing posters have their billing block etc.

The image on my poster could cover most of the poster as it is the main focus and it would be the thing that the audience would remember .

2Having Ben a the image on my poster would show that he is the main character of the film.

Having the billing block etc. at the bottom of the page would allow the viewer to focus their attention on the rest of the poster.

3Having the tagline for the film at the top of the poster allows the audience to see a very brief description of the film without distracting them from the rest of the poster.

This layout idea has the title of the film centralised over the top of the image to show that the audience that the name of the film is important

I think that if the image on my poster was of Emily and Ben it would make it obvious who the main characters of the film are.

I think if I had the release date below the billing block it would make my audience look at who is in the film as they will have to glance over this to find the release date.

4I think that my poster will look better if the film title was at the top rather than anywhere else on the poster

For this layout could have a picture of Emily and her new boyfriend James, sitting happily in the foreground and then have Ben in the background hiding behind a tree spying on them to show the audience part of what the film is about.

I think having the Tagline, billing block and release date in this order will look the best out of all of my layout designs.
