In early 2010, Eric Dennis created “This is a Good Sign” to bring the community closer together. In the process was born a lifestyle brand that makes people happier and more open to each other.
The Good Sign had an instant effect on those who saw it; taking them to a place in their own lives that they loved – transporting them to a better place by the power of their own minds. Refocus on the good.
The objectivity of Good Sign has allowed it to become many things to many people; inspiring other community movements for social good in its wake.
Eric and Team Good Sign are proud to be a part of something that inspires people to think more positively and feel less fearful overall by disarming each individual with humor and sparking their curiosity.

• Smiley, was founded through a newspaper promotion to make people happy. Using the logo to highlight good news, it allowed readers to see the bright side of life throughout any day.
• Licensed since 1972, the “Have a Nice Day” smiley face has had hundreds of successful partners over the years including Levi Strauss, Mars, M&M’s and many more.
• $167 million licensed sales annually
• Life is good was started in 1989 as a T-shirt company based on spreading the power of optimism.
• Optimistic apparel and accessories featuring positive messaging and comfortable fits for men, women and kids can be found in 4700 stores nationally.

• Baby on Board is the message of a small (usually five-inch) sign intended to be placed in the back window of an automobile to encourage safe driving. First marketed in September 1984 by Safety 1st Corporation, the sign became a ubiquitous fad, flourishing in 1985.
