What is ALMAP?

The Alliance of Legal Management Associations of the Philippines serves as the core of the different Legal

Management student organizations in the Philippines. The Alliance envisions itself to undertake activities

and seminars to promote academic excellence among Legal Management students. It is an avenue for the

dissemination, acquisition, exchange and promotion of information on the Legal Management program. It

enables its members to contribute to the development of the country through social, political and

economic welfare and education services with an overriding commitment to national support. ALMAP

conducts activities necessary to the furtherance of knowledge on business and entrepreneurship and to

perform all other functions and activities.

Mash-up ALMAP?

For years, Ateneo LEX had been conducting student exchange projects with De La Salle

University and the University of Santo Tomas. As part of the Externals Department, the

Legal Management Exchange is all about fostering new bonds and connections among

different schools and universities. Both universities were able to experience a day in the life

of a Legal Management student in the Ateneo and vice-versa. Campus tours and simulation

classes were conducted during the event.

This year there will be some slight changes in the project. This year’s LMEx is partnering

with the Alliance of Legal Management Associations of the Philippines to invite the rest of

the partner schools to come and gather in the Ateneo campus! The LMEx will not just invite

1 partner school 18 partner schools!
