Brief description: The main objective of the work is to develop a system for writer identification and verification from questioned multi-script documents. So the proposed system is targeted at the multi-script scenario, which is the most common in a multi-script country like India where we are habituated in handling documents written in multiple scripts. I am working on four most popular scripts in India namely: Roman, Devanagari, Bangla and Urdu. Various machine learning and deep learning techniques are being employed for multilingual writer identification and verification tasks. I worked on two projects during my stay at UEvora. In the first project we participated in the ImageCLEF 2018 competition where my task was to categorize different Tuberculosis types and severity scoring among them. In the second work, a novel image descriptors was developed for mammogram mass classification. I have applied various statistical and machine learning techniques during my work. Out of my work few publications were reported.
