Dear Ms. Charvoz, Dr. Gomes, Mr. Stix, and Mr. Whitnel,
Music Celebrations International along with the Pearl Harbor Memorial Foundation and the USS
Missouri Memorial Foundation, are pleased to extend an Official Invitation to the HOUSTON
MASTERWORKS CHORUS to perform in the 80TH ANNIVERSARY PEARL HARBOR COMMEMORATION
CONCERT SERIES, as an OFFICIAL REPRESENTATIVE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS. This once-in-a-lifetime
featured concert performance of the Houston Masterworks Chorus will take place on of December 7, 2021
at PEARL HARBOR – as part of the Official National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day events.
In addition to your featured solo performance on December 7th – the National Pearl Harbor
Remembrance Day, the Houston Masterworks Chorus will also present a custom “Houston Masterworks
Chorus” wreath at the U.S.S. ARIZONA MEMORIAL, in an OFFICIAL WREATH LAYING CEREMONY, and
participate in an OFFICIAL FLAG FOLDING CEREMONY at the U.S.S. MISSOURI MEMORIAL in honor of
those who lost their lives during the Pearl Harbor Attack.
In addition to your featured HMC concert performance at Pearl Harbor on December 7th 2021, the
HMC wreath-laying ceremony and the HMC flag-folding ceremony – we are also showing a featured HMC
concert performance at a local Hawaiian church venue on the itinerary. For the church-venue concert
performance, we will expertly organize, arrange, and produce all technical and artistic details, as well as
carry-out full media, publicity, and promotion highlighting the Houston Masterworks Chorus.
December 7, 1941, “a date which will live in infamy”, is forever etched in the history of the United
States, and pulled the American Military into World War II. After four years of fierce fighting, and over
400,000 American lives cut short, the Japanese signed their surrender treaty on the deck of the USS
Missouri – now stationed at Pearl Harbor, thus ending WWII.
Our professional and experienced staff will handle all of your HMC travel arrangements,
performance details and accommodations down to the last detail. Rest assured that the prices we offer
cover the cost of everything that will enable your group to have a successful and memorable Pearl Harbor
80th Anniversary experience.
I am excited about the musical and cultural stimulation this event will undoubtedly provide to your
Houston Masterworks Chorus and your non-performing travelers!
Sincerely yours,
John P. Wiscombe, President
