Dear Friends,

Welcome !New Year 2016!Year of the Monkey!

Thanks for coming to our Scholarship Fund Raising Dinner Dance. The Chinese American Chamber of Commerce of Santa Clara Valley wishes ALL A Healthy & Prosperous New Year.

The main goal of this event is to raise money for scholarship and to celebrate The New Year 2016.Our scholarship program is for High School Seniors of Asian decent in the Santa Clara County. The scholarship amount varies from $200-$1000. The number of scholarships given depends on funds available, at least 10 or more.

CACC established in the mid 1980’s is a non profit organization which is non-partisan and non-sec-tarian. Membership is open to anyone who shares in CACC’s goals which are: To present a strong, unified voice and To cultivate and elevate the standing of Chinese American Businesses in the Community.

I would like to take a moment to recognize the Board of Directors and many volunteers of the Chinese American Chamber of Commerce, in the heart of the 25th State Assembly District. Additionally, I would like to congratulate the Chinese American Chamber of Commerce on their efforts to promote Chinese American business and commerce within our region.

As the State Assemblymember representing the 25th State Assembly District and as a proud Chinese American, I understand the importance of promoting Chinese culture throughout our region. I applaud each Chamber Member for their service to help give back to our shared community. Their work has greatly benefited our region, and has helped foster a greater understanding of the rich culture, beautiful arts and unique heritage of the Chinese-American community throughout Silicon Valley and the State of California.

It is my honor to represent such a wonderful part of the State of California in the State Assembly, and I am proud of my partnership with Chinese American Chamber of Commerce. I highly encourage residents to consider participating in one of their upcoming events, and I look forward to working with them in the future.
