Transcript of Dr. Leo G. Cigarroa High...
Dear Toro Family!
September is upon us, and we are off to a great start thanks to our parents, students,
teachers, custodians, support personnel, and administration.
Now, on a very exciting note, it is with great pride that I announce that Dr. Leonides G.
Cigarroa High School has earned the distinction of being a RECOGNIZED CAMPUS. Due to
the exceptional work of our teachers, our students were able to excel on their state
assessments and earn this acknowledgement from the state of Texas. This rating is a
testament that through hard work and dedication, our students can be very successful.
Thank you parents for your commitment to their education.
As we continue to progress in our school year, I would like to remind teachers, parents
and students about the importance of attendance as a key to promote learning as well as
following rules and guidelines to develop a safe environment. Without these two crucial
factors, instruction cannot take place. Please make sure that you motivate your kids, our
students, to be present and ready to learn every day. Their continued success depends, in
great measure, on that. WE CAN BE AN EXEMPLARY CAMPUS!
Respectfully,
Jose E. Iznaola Principal

Just a friendly reminder that we are a peanut-free zone. We have students with peanut allergy that range in severity (mild to severe-anaphylaxis) and we must remember to keep our campus a peanut-free zone. Iris Herrera, RN CHS School Nurse
