*
*The HCI funds account for 0.12% of the Annual
Budget
*By far the greatest Benefactor of the HCI Funds is
the CGS
*The Community benefits by local groups being able
to leverage the “first financer’s” money to
complete projects that otherwise may not be
realized
*Every single HCI investment in an investment in
Quality of Life and makes our City that much better
*
*Stop being negative – “Slush Fund” – Stop listening to the Blog Trolls – nothing positive ever comes from these denizens of toxicity
*Stop worrying about us being the only Municipality… – instead consider the HCI funds as a unique method of helping our City be a better place for its citizens and visitors
*Consider it a “Best Practice” for the Municipality to be a “micro-financer” for the community – something we can be proud of – just look at what previous councils have done – review the reports
*We should be bragging that we can do so much good for the community with so little!!
