PROGRESS: Report as on 18.07.2015 Unit#1 Unit hot boxed up at at 06:10 hrs on 10.07.2015 due to failure of PA fan NMEJ joining combustor. On 09.07.2015 PA duct support at 6 mtr elevation completely got damaged and duct displaced from its position. MEJ at this location also developed punctures. Duct support strengthening work is in progress. MEJ cut and removed. New MEJ being erected. NMEJ replacement work is in progress. Trial operation for 30 days at various load stated at 21:00 hrs on 30.06.2015 after completion of initial operation. 72 hrs operation at 100 % tmcr started on 30.06.2015 at 21:00 hrs and declared completed at 03.07.2015 at 21:00. 240 hrs continuous operation greater than 60% tmcr :- started on 03.07.2015 at 21:00 hrs. First interruption occurred on 06.07.2015 at 21:09 hrs due to drum level transmitter impulse line leak and unit hand tripped on MS temp very low. Unit brought back to 150 mw at 09:10 hrs on 07.07.2015.(Interruption occurred for 12 hrs hence particular case is restarted). Second interruption: - At 22:09 hrs on 08.07.2015 combustor DP went very high (Ash cooler choked front side) and feeders got tripped. Turbine hand tripped at 23:01 hrs on MS temp very low. Unit synchronized at 03:01 hrs on 09.07.2015. Third interruption:-At 06:10 hrs unit boxed up due to failure of combustor front NMEJ. Second pass leak observed in economizer coil. Leak attended and HT done at 60 ksc pressure. Unit light-up planned today.REQUIREMENTPOSTEDON TOURRequest for deputation

Unit #2 72 hrs at 100% TMCR declared completed on 21.04.2015. 72 hrs at 80% TMCR declared completed on 24.04.2015 72 hrs at 60% TMCR declared completed on 27.04.2015. 240 hrs operation > 60 % TMCR protocol submitted to NLC. Unit boxed up at 02:50 hrs on 18.07.2015.Suspected leak in second pass. CFBC kept under forced cooling. ACW pump vendor reported site on 17.07.2015 for installing modified pump impeller.

Program: Date:18.07.2015 Unit #1 light up.

Abnormalities : BC Blower 2D Gear Box damaged while in operation. Vendor visited site and listed out the spares. Unit #1 One ACW pump is available. Standby pump is not available Unit #2:- Both ACW pumps not available. Out of 4 motors, 2 motors failed and they are sent for repair to vendor works. Problem being analyzed by PEM. Two pump impellers are sent to vendor works on 09.02.2015.PO placed by site for repair. Unit#2 DC JOP motor sent for repair. Matter taken up with BHEL/haridwar. Unit-2 SUB 2 main flame scanner found faulty. Sent for repair. SUB-3 SA CD positioner and bed lance 6-10 atomizing steam CV positioners to be repaired/replaced. U#1 DR_9 HP Heater drain CV yoke broken. CAR disposition is awaited
