Hey,
So I just reread your little guy and it goes reallynicely with the anti-men sentiment weve been
having these days. Some o the ideas seemedrather disjunctive at frst but came together in aninteresting way, so Im curious to see i the layoutwill aect how each section relates to another.
At frst the part about exclusionrelated toorgies and riendshipconused me a little; I
read it as exempliying the anarchist tendencyto attempt ull integration o everyonesdesires, sensitivities, and boundaries into oneconglomerate identity (in that case regardingsexual interests). Seems like this tendency notonly ignores actual dierences in what we desire,
but also lends itsel to manipulation. Because othe desperate eort to keep everyone on the samepage and comortable, radical circles create areplicable routine o interactions, which isnt allthat dierent rom the rest o society. Maybe thisincessant urge to avoid an imbalance o power
is not only diluting what some o us actuallywant rom our relationships, but is also givinganarchist men access to a mode o communicationthat oers them an undeserved audience and thetools to get what they want.
Te coolest part o the whole thing to me was thesuggestion that opposition to the anarchist manbe hysterical and sadistic, but also clever and

calculated. Lately my hesitance to say what theuck I wanna say and allow my cruelty to suracehas been insanely rustrating, because I have
some weird sense o obligation to the men aroundmeto be empathetic and understanding o theways they uck up.
Not to rant but I have yet another example.Recently I heard that ___ said Im into gettingbeat up because o daddy issues, knowing ull well
all o my history; obviously thats a really uckedup thing to say. I want to kick the shit out o himand degrade him until he cries, but every timeI see him I just pretend I dont know about hiscomment and wait or him to stop ogling me. Isome bro said that or looked at me that way Id
be all over his ass, but since there is this assumeda nity Im not able to act on what I want todo, similar to my situation with ___. I want tobe rantic and unleash a manic ury onto thesedumb-ass circle A dicks but Im outnumbered 10to 1. So scheming sounds pretty good.
Something Ive been thinking about lately is thatI dont know how to reconcile my desire to destroythe anarchist man with my desire to uck him.Tis leads me to think that maybe those urgesshouldnt be inherently separate... but I shouldprobably stop beore I try to make an argument
or civil heart war. :)

Im ascinated by lesbian separatists, i only becausethey based so much o their communities on this
speciic identity (emale, lesbian, and to a lesserextent, middle-class and white) that it became
irrelevant within the scene or whatever that theirpolitics were so based on it. Isnt that the argument
about Scandinavian social democracy, that theyare so homogeneous that it works? my question,
then, what is the critical mass at which dierencebecomes irrelevant? Im reminded o Baudrillards
muscle-woman who can lex hersel to orgasmdierence is no longer necessary, he says.

The answer is clearly:No. But what are the

collectivity, a network
o practices, bodies,
spaces, which make upwhat could be called the
anarchist milieu in the
US, then the implicationsare civil war1. I this
collectivity is better
defined based on the
structural positionality o
women, the implications
are similar, and the
spheres o hostility aremultiplied. I the our
we speak rom are dense
nuclei, then the spheres o
hostility are endless.

And more urgently, women in the scene can never become anonymous
as long as men in the scene continue to treat them as sex objects or orcethem to think about sexual violence at what are supposed to be sites oliberation. We need it to be the exception, not the rule, that the woman
leaves the scene when a hetero couple breaks up [...]We need olks to makeaccountability a priority. We need community.

The Anarchist Man is o the same
apparatus which links the Anarchist
Queer, the Anarcha-Feminist-Woman,and The Anarchist POC. This apparatus
can be best described as what remains o
antagonistic subjectivities and strategic
essentialism. I call this apparatus identity
politics, but we could also think o it asthe preconditions or the ormation o
the imaginary posteminist dictatorship,
which is the logical advancement o an
insurrectional eminism. Identity politics
is clearly a limited strategy. The sae-
spaces which were the basis o strategicessentialism, have all collapsed.
