Introduction: Resurrection

Satan has a claim on our Physical body,

One can not discern any obvious change in his physical body before and after he received Jesus and gained life through resurrection.

The changes a person experiences whenresurrected and enters the governance of God takes place in heart and spirit. These internal changes also purify the human body,transforming it from a haunt of Satan into a temple of God.

In this sense, we may say that our physical bodyis also resurrected. /DP Chapt 5

Introduction:

Understand the preciousness of the days during which you can make use of your (Physical) body.

They give us our one and only opportunity to use our bodies to resurrect God and the universe and to unite the world.

The totality of God and all creation cannot be exchanged for the value of life on earth. Why? Because without humankind existing physically on earth, God and the universe combined together would still be incomplete.

Introduction:

Realize how precious the human body is. We cannot trade our physical selves even for the universe.

It is in this light that we understand the biblical verse, “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his life? Or what can a man give in exchange for his life?”

Introduction:

We have a conscience. How does it differ from the spirit world? How do the mind and the spirit world differ?

People may think the mind is the spirit, but they are confused about that. Due to the Fall, the mind has nothing to do with the spiritual world.

In other words, the mind of a fallen person is like a boneless body. This gives you a realistic idea if you think of it taking that form.

Introduction:

We have a mind and a body that exist in different dimensions.

The mind differs from the spirit world.

We speak of the spiritual and physical worlds in terms of God’s love.

Accordingly, for both of them to unite, God must be involved.

Without God’s love being involved, the spirit world cannot exist. It is linked to God.

Introduction:

The spirit self has a spirit body and a spirit mind.

The latter corresponds to the spiritual world. It definitely relates to God.

Therefore, without establishing a relationship with God,the spirit mind will not come into being.

Introduction:

Understand that spirit and mind are two different things.

The fallen mind has no relationship with God – He has left it.

God Himself can neither relate to our mind nor control it directly.

Introduction:

When the spirit mind sprouts up in us, our body experiences joy and everything follows it.

Everything starts to unite automatically.

Our biggest problem has been the separation of our mind and body.

However, when spiritual energy comes into our body and creates the origin of our spirit mind, our mind and body become one naturally.

Many wonderful things will occur that are more real than those at the time of Jesus.

He (SMM) said that the returning Lord would come in the flesh to Korea. Stating that Korea may be an insignificant country today, it would in the near future take its position as the most important country in the world.

People around the world would envy Korea, and feel resentment about not being born as Koreans. Quite skeptical, I asked how he could be so sure in that Christ would come to Korea.

He replied, "In 1950, Jesus' face appeared over the sky in North Korea, and This was a kind of significant event." I had heard of the available site event, and I remember what a stir the newspapers made it.

Christians looked up at the sky for Jesus to come on the cloud.

At that time, I wanted to show them the Messiah is coming by showing myself, that by their seeing me, they would know that the Messiah is coming.

But that was a mistake to think that. They didn't receive the visions and revelations the way I wanted them to.

They thought the Messiah would come spiritually or through my ownself as I have shown through the revelations, through visions.

If I hadn't show myself, instead if I had shown True Parents, they may not have betrayed True Parents. I feel so regretful.

 The Purpose of Jesus' Coming as the Messiah

Jesus came as the Messiah for nothing less than the complete salvation of humanity; he was to fulfill the goal of the providence of restoration.

Jesus was supposed to establish the Kingdom of Heaven, first on the earth.

We can infer this from Jesus' own teaching to his disciples, "You, therefore, must be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect."2(Matt. 5:48)CEV|KJ|NI 

According to the Principle of Creation, a person who has realized the purpose of creation does not commit sin, because he is in full harmony with God and possesses a divine nature. With respect to the purpose of creation, such a person is perfect as Heavenly Father is perfect. Jesus gave this teaching to his disciples with the hope that they could be restored as people who had realized the purpose of creation and become citizens of the Kingdom.

Furthermore, Jesus taught people to pray that God's Will be done on earth as it is in heaven because he came to renew fallen humanity as citizens of God's Kingdom and build the Kingdom on earth. He also urged the people, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."3(Matt. 4:17)CEV|KJ|NI 

For the same reason, John the Baptist, who came to prepare the way of the Lord, also announced the imminence of the Kingdom.4(Matt. 3:2)CEV|KJ|NI

The Jewish people who believed in the prophecies of Scripture fervently hoped for the advent of the Messiah. Yet we should know that they longed just as eagerly for the return of Elijah. This was because God had clearly promised through the prophet Malachi that He would send the prophet Elijah prior to the advent of the Messiah to prepare the way of the Lord. Elijah had ascended to heaven about 850 years before the birth of Jesus; since then he has abided in the spirit world.

We are familiar with the story of the Transfiguration, when Elijah and Moses spiritually appeared before the disciples of Jesus. (Luke 9:28-36)

Many Jews believed that when Elijah came again he would descend from heaven in the same manner as he had ascended to heaven.

Just as there are Christians today who are resolutely looking to the sky with the expectation that Jesus will come in the clouds, Jews of Jesus' day were looking up at the sky, anxiously awaiting the coming of Elijah.

If God had originally predestined Jesus to die on the cross, Jesus would have expected to go that path as his due course.

Why, then, did he pray three times, "My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as thou wilt"? (Matt. 26:39)CEV|KJ|NI 

In truth, Jesus offered those desperate prayers because he knew well that his death would shatter the hope of attaining the Kingdom of Heaven on earth.

This would be a tragic disappointment to God, who had worked so laboriously to realize this hope through the long ages since the Fall.

Furthermore, Jesus knew that humanity's afflictions would continue unrelieved until the time of his Second Coming.

Jesus did not die on the cross as the son. If he had been in the position of the son having spirit and body unity, becoming a victorious offering to God, there would be no need for him to come again.

He could not offer his total self. He could offer only half of himself. He lost his body and could offer only his spirit.

This represents a level equivalent to the angelic realm in the spirit world.

Therefore, Christians cannot enter Heaven but go instead to a spiritual realm lower than paradise and wait there.

That spiritual realm is under the dominion of the archangel.

In order to secure a victorious realm in the spirit world, that victorious realm must first be established on earth.

The Miracle of Easter: What Actually Happened?by Dr. Young Oon Kim

Look at Divine Principle's interpretation of the manner of resurrection. Like most liberal Protestants, Unificationistbelieve that Jesus' resurrection was spiritual and not physical.

A resurrection of the flesh contradicts our modern scientific worldview.

Bultmann, among others, would insist that if we are to make Christianity credible, we have to demythologize ancient doctrines like Jesus' fleshly resurrection and physical ascension to heaven.

Brunner likewise insists upon the resurrection of the body, yes; but resurrection of the flesh, no!

Paul-possibly the only well-educated member of the apostolic community-suggests that one need not believe in Jesus' corporeal resurrection.

In the early Pauline epistles, the Christian hope is largely interpreted in terms of Jewish apocalypticism, which includes belief in a physical resurrection (1Thess4-5). Later, Paul modified his views: "Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God" (1 Cor15:50).

Paul's experience of the risen Christ was an encounter with the glorified Christ, a spiritual reality.

There is also evidence in the Gospels that Jesus' resurrected body was very different from his earthly one.

When Jesus suddenly appeared to the disciples in their guest chamber, they thought they saw his ghost (Lk 24:37).

Similarly, the disciples who met the risen Jesus on the road to Emmaus did not recognize him until he ate with them, and as soon as their eyes were opened, he immediately vanished (Lk 24:15-31).

These two incidents show that the body of the risen Jesus was quite unlike his earthly one.

First of all, the Gospels present contradictory evidence about the burial of Jesus and the discovery of the open tomb. Matthew, Luke, Acts and John add details to Mark's original account, but they contradict one another in very important ways.

Four examples should suffice.How many women go to Jesus' tomb and find it empty? One, according to John 20:1. Two, according to Matthew 28:1. Three, according to Mark 16:1. Three women plus other disciples, according to Luke 24:10.

Who embalmed Jesus' body?

Joseph and Nicodemus, says the Fourth Gospel (Jn19:38-40). But according to the Synoptic tradition, the women go to the tomb for that purpose (Lk24:1).

Was the tomb guarded? Matthew relates that the chief priests and elders stationed soldiers at the sepulcher.

But Mark and Luke lack this important detail. What happened when the women came to the sepulcher? Matthew alone records a great earthquake taking place (Mt28:1-10).

If this startling event occurred, why did not the other evangelists note the fact?

From these discrepancies, one must conclude that Mark's original story was greatly embellished by the later evangelists.

Resurrection Appearances

Fortunately, we can find an important tradition about the risen Jesus in Paul's letters which is twenty years closer to Jesus' earthly ministry (1 Cor15:3).

Paul relates two very significant facts: a list of resurrection appearances which he claims to have received from the original apostolic community, and a likening of each appearance to his own mystical experience on the Damascus road.

That means the first resurrection appearances were of the spiritual Jesus.

More importantly, Paul nowhere refers to the empty tomb.

Doesn't this suggest that in his time-twenty years before Mark's Gospel-Christians did not believe that Jesus' tomb was found empty?

Guignebert and others therefore conclude that the tomb stories were later legends added by Christian apologists in order to demonstrate the reality of Jesus' resurrection.

Harnack, for example, maintained that the "discovery" of the open tomb complicated and confused the tradition and that Paul knew nothing of the story.

Jesus died on the cross and was buried.

Is that all we can know? Guignebert believes that Jesus' body was taken from the cross by his executioners and given some sort of burial.

If Jesus' sepulcher had been known, there would have been regular pilgrimages to the place. But the site of the Holy Sepulcher was not located until Constantine's time when he made it "available for veneration" in 326 A.D.

In any case, the Easter faith was based on the various appearances of the risen Jesus and not on an empty tomb.

According to Unification theology, the disciples did not see an ordinary ghost. What they experienced was the Messiah who had risen above the shame of a blasphemer's condemnation and criminal's death.

Thus Unificationists claim that, because of the resurrection, Jesus' mission did not end in failure. Certainly, Jesus'physical body was completely crushed.

But his sense of mission remained unshaken. When he awoke in the spirit world, Jesus' first concern was to resurrect the faith of his disciples, so he was eager to manifest himself to them in some visible way. This is why Luke wrote that for forty days Jesus remained near his disciples.

Because of Jesus' unfailing faith and on the basis of his forty-day foundation, God could begin a new dispensation using the disciples as instruments of His will for man's redemption.

It is not recorded in history, but even Jesus departed to do his mission during the seven years from when he was 27 to when he was 33.

From then to the time when he turned 40 would have been his second seven-year course, or if Jesus had started from his 20s, that would be his third seven-year course.

By doing this, Jesus was supposed to have prepared a worldwide foundation by the time he reached 40, (Comment: Become True Parent with a Bride)but he died because the nation did not support him.

Thus, that remains in the Bible as the seven-year great misfortune.

I am sure that many people who read the Bible musthave wondered about John the Baptist, "If he were such a great man, why did he not become the chief disciple of the Son of God?"

Jesus himself indicated the mission that John the Baptist came to fulfill: "For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John; and if you are willing to accept it, he is Elijah who is to come." (Math. 11:13)

John the Baptist represented the consummation of theOld Testament, the Law, and the Prophets. He was the prince of the old age.

Jesus Christ came as the prince of the New Age…

Had Jesus been supported by John the Baptist, he could have stood upon the firm foundation of the Old Testament Age.

Then the new age could have blossomed in the fertile soil of the accomplishments of the old age.

The Son of God could have established his gloriouskingdom at once.And John the Baptist would have been the cornerstone of that kingdom.

In order to save fallen people physically as well as spiritually, it was necessary that Jesus come in the flesh.

Had the people believed in Jesus and so united with him in both spirit and flesh, they would have received salvation both spiritually and physically.

Jesus' body was exposed to Satan's assault, and he was killed.

Therefore, even when faithful Christians are united with Jesus, their bodies remain exposed to Satan's attack, just as was Jesus' body.

Consequently, no matter how devout a believer may be, he cannot attain physical salvation through redemption by the cross of Jesus.

His original sin, which has been passed down through the lineage from Adam, is not eliminated at its root.

The BODY is still most important tool for both God and satan!

Restoration is like returning to the original seed.The perfection of restorationis the perfection of the seed.Through the Fall, Satan seized the central root.

Now, let us discover the dividing line between heaven and hell. Is it up in the air? Where is it? - It is in your sexual organ.

This is a serious matter. When the sexual organ is used as a blind person wandering aimlessly and without direction, it will, undoubtedly, lead you as its owner to hell.

By the same token, you will be led high up into heaven when you use the sexual organ according to the standard of God's absolute love.

Who received the blessing of Jesus? It was not the twelve disciples who had followed him nor the religious leaders, who had believed in heaven, nor the people of Israel, who had been chosen through blessing. The free world has been referred to as right wing, and the communist world has been referred to as left wing. This terminology has its origins in Jesus. At the time of Jesus' crucifixion, there was one thief on his left and one on his right. The thief on the right represented God's side and the thief on the left represented Satan. The mind is on God's side and the body is on Satan's side.

The struggle expands from the individual to the family, clan, nation, and world, and the world will divide into religious and non-religious spheres.

This is symbolized by the two thieves at Jesus' crucifixion. They represent the left and right wings, which fight against each other.

Also, Barabbas, who escaped crucifixion, represents Islam, which fights against Christianity… 

Christianity lined up with the right wing and Islam lined up with the left wing; so this great separation takes place in the Last Days.

We see the division of left and right wings in Korea and the division between religions in the Middle East. The world-level task is how to solve these divisions and unite the two sides.

Suppose he had [found sufficient foundation to] establish his family; and his children had started multiplying from that time.

How long do you think it would have taken to restore the entire world? Not more than 600 years.

My comment: It is crucial for the understanding of the Divine Blessing = Salvation , removal of Original Sinto understand that a New Adam with Sinless PHYSICAL BODYtogether with Holy Bride Eve, True Parents are needed.

The resurrected and transformed body of Jesus Christdo forgive sins, as 2000 year of Christianity teach but not the Original Sin. (Jesus physical body missing)

A new PHYSICAL CHRIST BODY is needed for that.

Why is PHYSICAL body so important.

Because thats where satan has the claim on us: - Fallen Blood Lineage

Jesus said:You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you will do …You brood (offspring) of vipers (satan),how can you who are evil say anything good? 

Mans eternal spirit is more/most important but it grows like a fruit on a tree = the physical bodyNo divine sinlesss physical body = no divine eternal sinless spirit

With returning Christs Divine PHYSICAL & SPIRITUAL body there is a new path...open door = Blessing to become eternal  Divine Spirit.

If Jesus resurrected Physically:

WHY did not Jesus come back to his disciples, if so many (not all) saw him?

Where have he been for 2000 years?

He was aging....and would have continued until his normal death at old age....been married...GLORIFIED...in his Physical life.

Where did the resurrected in Jerusalem go....after being seenby many (not all).

What a most powerful Christian testimony if they had continued to be seen for 2000 years.

It is the Divinity of Jesus as Sinless Adam, that is the Key.

Remember Jesus said...the Messiah can forgive sins....long before the Crucifixion,No mention of Cross - Death – Resurrection here!

The Divine Adam on Earth is what Mankind needs. - The Christ on Earth who can forgive sins ONCE AND FOR ALL!

The risen Jesus have done great work for 2000 years Jouni.No shadow there...I can fully accept and respect him for that.

But Jesus have never forgiven any Christian Couples Original Sin so that children being born have no trace of Original Sin.

This every Christian knows and can not deny!

Even a return of Jesus on the clouds will not change that.A new PHYSICAL Adam will do it. - Why!

Because the Sin was done on Earth – both Spiritual and Physical.

Jesus had to give the keys to Peter on Earth.

Why!

Because from the Spirit world you can not change conditions on Earth. - Biblical.

whatsoever you shall bind on earth shall be what has been bound in heaven: and whatsoever you shall loose on earth shall be what has been loosed in heaven...this goes for Jesus as well.

Even though we may by faith unite with Jesus in spirit, our Physical body is still liable to Satan's attack, as was the case with Jesus himself – Betrayed - Crucified.

In other words, our physical salvation still remains unaccomplished.

Still, if we believe in the resurrected Jesus, he will guide us to enter spiritually his realm of resurrection, which is invulnerable to satanic invasion.

There we are released from the conditions which allow Satan to accuse us, and we are spiritually saved.

Because of the fall, there were 12 tribes - some on Cain’s side and some on Abel’s side. There was disunity on all levels.
