In parallel, Ruediger is a lecturer at the University of Cologne and co-founded the Corporate Finance Association (Corpfina). Ruediger started his career at Deutsche Bank and served as an Executive Assistant to the Board of Managing Directors at Commerzbank.

Personal ProfileMartin Broda is heading Commerzbanks’s Bejing Branch since July 2013. After studying economics he started his career in German Corporate Banking in 1994. This later led him into Syndicated Lending as well as Corporate Finance. He headed the Corporate Valuation practice of KPMG in Luxembourg for nearly 7 years where he also gained extensive experience in M&A as well as Transaction Services. Subsequent to this he took another step into the Mezzanine/Private Equity arena before joining Commerzbank in 2006 where he was initially responsible for the Bank’s Financial Engineering activities in Bavaria focussing on tailor-made Structured Finance solutions and Financial Advice for a demanding corporate client base.

Kevin is a graduate of Peking University, and also a Master graduate of Melbourne University. He is a member of China CPA.

He has spent 8 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers Hong Kong and Beijing before he worked for HSBC Private Equity for 2 years and Tom Group, a HK-listed media Group, for 5 years. He rejoined PwC Beijing office in June 2005. Since he rejoins the firm, he under-taken numerous projects including fund raising through private placement, domestic acquisitions and disposals, and cross border acquisitions. Prior to joining CNC, he spent more than 20 years in high-profile positions in international finance and business jour-nalism, most recently as founding editor of the digital German-language edition of the Wall Street Journal and head of Dow Jones Newswires in Germany. Prior to that, Knut Engelmann worked for 16 years in various leadership positions at Reuters, most recently as Wall Street Editor and Global Company News Editor in New York, and, previously, Managing Editor for the German-speaking region. He started his journalistic career in 1994 at Bloomberg. Knut Engelmann holds Economics degrees from the University of London and New York University.

Personal ProfileQun Huang is one of the few Chinese who has passed both German legal state examinations and practices as an attorney in Germany. Since 1999, he has worked as a corporate lawyer and has successfully advised Chinese companies in a series of M&A and IPO projects. Furthermore, he provides long term legal advice to Chinese companies in Germany, particularly regarding business contracts, financing, claim management, labour, immigration, intellectual property and real estate. Qun Huang, a native Chinese speaker, is fluent in German and English. He is member of the international Bar Association.

He has worked in this role before at the GTAI Headquarters in Berlin as Senior Manager for projects in Mechanical & Electronic technologies. Prior to joining Germany Trade and Invest, he gained work experience in several Euro-pean countries: He started his career at PricewaterhouseCoo-pers in Paris as a consultant and auditor where he was engaged in various client projects in France, Germany, Belgium andSwitzerland. He later worked with his own consulting firm as a business development consultant and representative for foreign companies in Germany and France.
