This version of LandSerf is not provided with a Java Runtime Environment and requires Java 1.5 or higher installed on your machine to work. Note that MacOSX (10.4 and above) should already have the correct version of Java installed. For Linux users, and those for whom double clicking does not work, open a command line window (e.g. shell window on Unix/Linux/MacOS or 'cmd' window in Windows). 'cd' to the directory in which you have saved the jar file and then type java ‐jar landserf230MyPlatformInstall.jar where MyPlatform is the name of your operating system (either Windows, Linux or MacOSX). You should be presented with a sequence of installation screens similar to those below. Follow the instructions presented to install the software.
