Network InstallationAll of the network installations we perform are carried out by our professional team of infrastructure specialists. All equipment is installed as per your instruction on the day it is delivered and testing is performed during and after the installation itself. Site surveys are carried out to establish both the feasibility and cost effectiveness of wireless technology prior to any recommendations or installations.

System HealthChecksPeriodically, EDAC Solutions can visit your site to perform a HealthCheck of any or all of your systems. Full diagnostics can be performed to ensure your business machines are in perfect working order. These range from simple network tests to in-depth diagnostic runs on servers and workstations. HealthChecks can spot potential disasters before they start to bring your entire system grinding to a halt. Some HealthChecks are included in our support options, other, more specific checks can be purchased separately on an individual, monthly or annual basis.

Technical Support OptionsFast and reliable technical support is vital in today’s market. EDAC Solutions offers a range of technical support services from single workstations to complete networks.

Single WorkstationsSupport for single workstation is covered by HealthChecks and conducted bi-monthly under your instruction. Simple diagnostic tests are performed to ensure your computer is running at its maximum efficiency. A 4-hour telephone response and an 8-hour turnaround cover any errors that occur with computers under this agreement for resolutions. Site visits are not normally carried out under this option but remote support is performed. EDAC Solutions will remotely access the machine provided the relevant software and hardware is installed.

Peer Network SystemsPeer networks are small system networks where workstations are linked together without a central server system. Support for this type of system is covered by a 4-hour telephone response and an 8-hour turnaround for resolutions. Site visits are only made if a resolution cannot be performed by remote access to the system. No HealthChecks are included with this support option.

Networked SystemsNetwork systems can be covered by three support options.

Standard Support Option Premium Support Option Disaster Recovery Option

Standard Support is designed to cover any number of workstations and a single server. The server can be any type including file servers; intranet servers; application servers or email servers. Support is governed by a 2-hour telephone response. Remote support is invoked within 4 hours of the initial call for support and an on-site visit is made if the failure cannot be resolved. If the failure is due to hardware, this can be purchased and fitted through us. If the components are still covered by the initial 1st year warranty, these components will be provided and fitted free of charge. No HealthChecks are included with this option.

Premium Support covers a wider range of equipment and a faster response time. A 2-hour response time is given and remote support is not performed. A site visit is invoked within 4 hours of the initial call. This option also covers more than one system server and extends to other network connected devices such as printers, scanners and backup facilities. If the failure is due to hardware, this can be purchased and fitted through us. If the components are still covered by the initial 1st year warranty, these components will be provided and fitted free of charge. Standard HealthChecks are performed once per quarter on any workstations or server equipment covered by this option.

Disaster Recovery is the most comprehensive cover we provide and is designed to get your business back up and running quickly in the event of a catastrophic failure on any of your computer systems. Immediate telephone response is given with an onsite response time of 2 hours. This option covers all of your computer equipment and an engineer will attend your site until the matter is resolved. If the failure is due to hardware, this can be purchased and fitted through us. If the components are still covered by the initial 1st year warranty, these components will be provided and fitted free of charge. Comprehensive HealthChecks are performed once per month under your instruction.

Contract of Technical SupportParties To ContractEDAC Solutions (North West) Ltd and Miramar Homes Ltd

Support OptionStandard Support Option

Principles of ContractWith effect from 1st May 2000 EDAC Solutions undertake to provide a technical support service to Miramar Homes Ltd consisting of helpline support and, where required, site visits to resolve computer related issues.

Particulars of SupportHelpline support is made available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week excluding public holidays and during client office closures. All calls for Technical Support will be logged and responded to within 2 hours of the initial call. Site visits will be made during normal working hours no later than 2 working days after the initial call was received.

EDAC Solutions warrants under this support option that faults or failures arising with the following equipment will be attended to until resolved, or where a replacement component is required, until that component is fitted, tested and proved to be in good working order.

Computer hardware components not more than 3 years since manufacture and in good working condition at the time of this agreement. Where replacement parts are required, cover extends only to those components purchased by the clients through EDAC Solutions.

Operating System software installed and under license from the authors, including but not limited to configuration; confliction; total or partial failure to perform as warranted by the authors.

Other software installed on any computer covered by this contract and under license from the authors and provided said software is not under any form of support contract by the authors.

Ancillary equipment connected to any computer covered under this contract provided that equipment is owned by the client and is not used by any third party.

This support contract is provided in consideration of a fixed fee of £xxxx plus VAT at the current rates, to be paid to EDAC Solutions by Miramar Homes Ltd

This support contract is to run from 1st May 2000 until 30th April 2001 with exclusions as noted in the Particulars of Support. Renewal is optional for both parties and may be cancelled by either party subject to one months written notice and a pro rata refund of the contract fee.Signed
