A hidden magician’s workshop, illusions that will rock yoursocks off, hilarious comedy conjuring and freakymindreading. Lose yourself in the full spectrum of magicperformances in a brand new multi-space experience in themaze-like venue of Summerhall.

Up to 10 live shows (15-30 minutes long), magic shop, ribbonmaze, workshops, open air courtyard with close-up magic,comedy, illusions, sleight of hand… all with one ticket. You willfind intimate shows for 20 all the way up to theatreperformances for 150.

Under 7s go free to the family orientated Morning Sessionfeaturing Magic School workshops, crafts, treasure hunts, andsix different live shows happening in every crook and crannyaround the site.

Magic School is back this summer with a new programme from Head Master Gary James!

Learn, create and perform your own magic at a whirlwind 2.5-hourworkshop or attend a 4-day course for young magicians, workingtowards a show for your friends and family on the last day. Each ofthe 4 days is themed to focus on a different area of magic andperformance, from levitations to cool card tricks.

Magic School was created seven years ago to teach and inspirechildren to perform incredible magic for their family and friends. Nowover 1000 children have attended!

There is a maximum of 25 children in each class so book early to avoiddisappointment. This is the only opportunity of its kind in Scotland thatallows you to learn and perform exciting magic, and make new wizardfriends.
