The goal of this program is to increase healthy birth outcomes for Aboriginal families by removing the cost barrier for them to access prenatal, birth, and postpartum supports from a qualified doula.

To collect information from families and doulas to strengthen the program and demonstrate the positive impact doulas have on families.

“Pregnancy is a special time for families and it is important that we make sure that Aboriginal

families have the appropriate supports they need to feel comfortable and confident during their

journey.”
