Double Page spread Constructions

To begin the construction of my double page spread i opeaned a new A3 page on photoshop

I then rotated the canvaus to make it landscape

To split the page in have if opened a grid on the page to ensure the page is accurately divided.

After importing the he image to Photoshop I first duplicated the image

I went to image/adjustments/black and white to make the image black and white.

Here i again duplicated the layer still in colour i then erased everything but the sitar

In order to erase the background from everywhere I had to zoom into the picture and use the polygon lasso tool to cut around the unwanted areas.

After fully erasing the background I then linked the later together and cut around the image using the polygon lasso tool. I then copied them onto my double page spread where the image was resized and positioned.

I then downloaded a font for my title. I added a drop shadow to the title to help it to stand out more, I also but the title in italic

I then added the rest of the text around my main image. Skewing the text around the artist was a difficult and very tedious task
