These are called MMORPGs – Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games

MMORPGs never end, there isn’t a final goal state which you can achieve. You ultimately strive to be the best of the best within the game.

However, Warcraft 3 is partially MMORPG as the one game ends but it takes a lot of time than usual.

Designed by ‘Icefrog’ & developed by ‘Blizzard Entertainment’ in the year 2005.

Ways to earn Gold-

There are in all 112 Heroes each having his own set of skills and power.

Divided into 3 Groups – Strength, Agility & Intelligence. Each team can have a maximum of 5 Heroes. The aim of either team is to destroy the “Ancient”, the

building at the center of each base.

Now each of the 112 Heroes have their own strengths and weakness (more Heroes are added sometimes when an update of the map is out)

The HP and healing power of a Strength Hero increases after every increase in Strength made by way of purchase of Inventory. Agility heroes armor and attack speed along with movement speed increases after addition of an agility attribute. An Intelligence heroes Mana and mana healing increases after addition of an Intelligence attribute.

Each and every Hero requires Mana to cast any spell which can cause damage whereas some Heroes sacrifice their own HP to cause damage to others.

When a Hero kills a hero/creep/neutral creep/destroy tower/kills Roshan, he gains some XP. This XP when gets fully filled, the level of the Hero increase. At the start of the game the level of a Hero is 1.

Initially the level of the Hero increases gradually. However as the game progresses, it becomes more and more difficult to increase the level of the Heroes.

The Level increase can be used to upgrade your skills or increase your attributes. After each level upgrade in the skill, it becomes more damaging and more powerful.

However it must be kept in mind that you increase your level faster than the enemy Hero or else it increases your chances of loosing.

Inventory Build should be decided by taking your Hero into consideration along with your position in the game.

Strength for Strength Hero, Agility for Agility Hero, Intelligence for Intelligence Hero.

Some Inventories are evergreen and can be used for each and every Hero as they do things which is a combo of all 3 attributes. Eg ‘Bloodstone’

The ultimate Inventory in this game is considered as the ‘Divine Rapier’ which increases your damage by 250. This Inventory helps in making you Godlike which happens when you are on a Rampage and have been killing more enemies without being killed.

I have not played much Games apart from CS, DOTA, GTA series, NFS series etc to be called a Gamer. However, I have stayed loyal to CS & DOTA for much time .

I used to play Counter Strike during my school times and initial college years and was a clan member of the “sCoCe” clan by the name of “PyThONIzEd SpIrIt”.

However later on I picked up Warcraft 3-Defence of the Ancients and played it online as well as on LAN with friends.

Currently I am not able to play Computer games due to professional obligations.

I feel that strategy games like these teach people many things like strategy making, planning, team work, proper execution of plans, etc and they also teach you to tackle crisis-like situation along with sharpening your presence of mind.
