IT IS NOT SAFE TO DRINK AND MAKES

THEM ILL. EVERY YEAR, AROUND 44,000

CHILDREN DIE FROM DRINKING DIRTY

WATER. ONLY 27% OF THE POPULATION HAS

ACCESS TO SANITARY FACILITIES.

Significant support for the Red Cross

Aim ® We collect donations through ticket sales, a

charity auction and a tombola, and the proceeds are invested in Swiss Red Cross programmes for people living in remote regions of the world.

WE HAVE HELD A RED CROSS GALA IN

ZURICH EVERY OTHER YEAR SINCE 2002.

THE FIRST GALA WAS IN ST MORITZ IN 2016

TO CELEBRATE THE 150TH ANNIVERSARY

OF THE SWISS RED CROSS. NOW THE GALA

ALTERNATES BETWEEN THESE TWO VENUES.

MORE THAN 300 SWISS AND INTERNATIONAL

GUESTS FROM THE WORLDS OF CULTURE,

BUSINESS AND SOCIETY REGULARLY ATTEND

EACH EVENT.

The last two events in St Moritz enabled us to collect a total of CHF 1.5 million.
