From 1999-2008, I participated in a number of research projects – several of which were externally funded – which in crucial ways have laid the foundation of my scholarly production:

2005-2008: With Hans Krause Hansen leading an international and cross-disciplinary investigation of Private Authority in Global Politics

2002-2005: Member of the Media and Democracy in the Network Society Project( the MODINET project), a three-year DKK 25 million interdisciplinary project, funded by the Danish Research Council involving 36 researchers from the social sciences and humanities in Denmark, coordinated by the University of Copenhagen (http://www.modinet.dk)

1999-2001: With Sven Bislev (DICM) and Hans Krause Hansen (DICM), Comparative Regionalism: Globalization and Transformations of the Public Sector. This project was part of a 3-year trans-institutional project Globalization, Statehood, and World Order, anchored at the Dept. of Political Science, Aarhus University, financed by the Danish Social Science Research Council

1999-2000: Political Communication – Borders, Boundaries and Frontiers, funded by the CBS Communication Initiative in 1998-99, this interdisciplinary project united researchers from three different departments at CBS: IOA, ICM and MPP (Hans Krause Hansen, Peter Kjær, Roy Langer, Dorte Salskov-Iversen and Niels Aakerstrøm)
