The Council met 4-5 times a year, and its purpose was proactively to address and advise the Ministry on issues in need of attention and action in order to advance the internationalisation of higher education.

2007-2012 Member (by invitation) of the Board of Mindlab, a cross-departmental unit for user-centred innovation in the public sector, established on January 1st 2007 by Ministry of Business and Growth (formerly the Ministry of Economic and Business Affairs (www.oem.dk), the Ministry of Taxation (www.skm.dk), and the Ministry of Employment (www.bm.dk) in Denmark.
