Grade 4C Term 1 Newsletter The first term of any year is always flat out and hectic. This term has been no different. We have had a fantastic beginning to the year in all areas of our learning. We have continued learning our times tables and very much enjoyed playing the times table challenge. We have also learnt about shapes including quadrilaterals and parallelograms. We used rubber band boards to assist us in making different types of shapes. We have loved pulling out our laptops and beginning work on them. We have revisited Reading Eggs and Spellodrome. We also have looked at Mathletics. We look forward to all the exciting work we will be completing on our computers this year.

This year we have done some fantastic work in the school garden and kitchen during our Stephanie Alexander sessions.

Easter Bonnet Parade

On the last week of term we celebrated the upcoming Easter holidays with an Easter Bonnet Parade. We had a lot of fun making our hats and then displaying them for the rest of the school to see.
