FUN FAIR! Our largest fundraiser of the year, the DPE Fun Fair takes place on May 25th from 5:30pm - 9pm. This year promises to be the best yet, with the addition of food trucks (bring the family for dinner!), a vendor market, pony rides and more. This event continues to be successful because of the great volunteers each year. Please look out for the volunteer sign up coming soon!! If you are interested in participating in the vendor market, or if your company would like to sponsor this event, please contact Nisha at [email protected]. FREE Movie Night! The PAC invites you to a free movie night on Friday, March 16th at 6:30pm (doors at 6pm). We’re playing Despicable Me 3 and popcorn & juice boxes are on us! Books for Bucks The DPE PAC is excited to announce the 1st Annual Books for Bucks! Simply bring in your gently-read children’s books from March 1st - April 13th, then on April 20th buy some new-to-you books for home for just $2 each! 100% of funds raised will benefit the new playground fund. The division that brings in the most donated books will win a class pizza party! Neufelds This round of Neufeld Farms orders is due by Friday, March 2nd. Don’t miss out, and thanks for your support. What does the PAC do with funds raised?
This is a common and important question! The funds raised by DPE PAC support the following:
* New playground equipment* Technology purchases for the school* Field trip funds* Teacher/classroom money for supplies* Grade 7 outdoor education fund* Speech awards* Cultural events/performances* Emergency preparedness* Literacy for classrooms* WGSS scholarship
