Ingress

Egress (not evacuation)

Aim: to stagger egress over a 3 hour period into transport hub• Safe egress• Positive spectator experience• Support transport operation

What will be there?• Venue and concessions would remain open for 2hrs after session closes• Have a go area, mascot activation, non amplified music • Relay footage from other Olympic venues on big screens• Training on the lake

How will we do it?• Communication in advance via A5, on screen & PA messages near end of comp• Announcements through PA and video screens informing spectators throughout e.g. Transport hub timings, sports coming up on screen etc. • Stewarding

Transport plans - Egress

Decision Point 1:• walk to northern entry / exit

• remain in venue for athlete training• proceed to Downtown Dorney / exit

venue Decision Point 2:• exit venue / walk to Windsor along art

trail• exit venue via Thames bridge

Decision Point 3:• Left - Blue Badge / Marketing Partners

• Right - all other spectators Decision Point 4:• French Brothers river ferry• Taxi / Private Hire vehicles
