I am writing this letter on behalf of Dori Hauser. Dori has worked with me for a few of her practicums, class assignments, and student taught at Hubbell Elementary in my kindergarten classroom for seven weeks. Dori has a passion for teaching that is difficult to find. She is very reflective during her experiences and understands the individual needs of students. She knows how to appreciate the joy that working with small children brings. Dori maintains a professional attitude and appearance.

Dori has worked with a variety of ethnicities and a variety of students’ abilities through the experiences she has encountered. Dori met the challenges with ease, planned with differentiation in mind, and with a true sense of understanding and appreciation. Dori built a great rapport with the students in my class and with other staff memebrs. She took great initiative and was very organized through all of her experiences here. A good teacher has an open-mind and is reflective. Dori has exhibited this in many different circumstances.

Dori is going to make a great teacher and is going to be a great addition to any district, school, and staff. She is very motivated and has a passion for teaching and it shows in everything she does. She exhibited the professionalism through being on time, great attendance, dressed professionally, and many other professional qualities that an effective teacher exhibits. The kids enjoyed and connected with her over the time she was here.

As a practicing teacher, I would highly recommend Dori for a teaching position. She exhibits the characteristics and personality that is going to make her a great asset to the teaching profession.
