This book is collaboration between the photographers Cole Rains and Abelardo Morell. Cole’s photographs in this book are adaptation or reposes to Abelado’s original photos. The photos in this series will show you that there is not only beauty in writing but in the book it’s self. You will see the relating characteristics in both photographers’ photos, such as the use of D-O-F and lighting. The author hopes you can draw some of these correlating themes.

Abelardo was born 1948 in Cuba. He received numerous awards and his work has been collected and shown in many galleries. He lives with his wife, Lisa McElaney, and his children Brady and Laura in Brookline. He is still alive and we’ll and I hope he keeps up photography.  

Cole was born 1999 in Indianapolis. He is a photography student at Park Tudor, and loves the arts. He lives with his parents Claudia and Michael who help inspire him.
